For a suggested retail price of $29.95, all versions of CrimeCraft will include three months of Premium subscription time and a stipend of gold bars that can be used for in-game micro-transactions to outfit your character in the latest fashion. After the included three month subscription time has expired, there will be a low monthly fee of $9.99 for Premium access or $4.99 for Standard access that provides a monthly allotment of gold bars as well as access to subscriber only features. Right now we are solely concentrating on making the PC version of CrimeCraft the very best it can be.
All the economic features from a typical MMO will be in CrimeCraft – Vendors, direct trade, pawn shops (auction houses), etc. There is more to tell that ties into our Crafting system but for that, you’ll have to wait!
The current limit is 50 members for newly created gangs. With time, as your gang gains more reputation, the plan is to allow for alliances or gang mergers.
No, you may be in physical possession of as many weapons as your backpack
inventory allows. In a match, you can equip one heavy weapon (Rocket Launcher,
Sniper Rifle, etc), one primary weapon (Rifle, Shotgun, etc) and one sidearm
(pistols, SMGs etc). Primary weapons require that you have the necessary skill
to use them . For example, using a sniper rifle requires your character to
have sniper skill, etc).
Matches vary in time (depending on the map) and can accommodate up to 8
players per team (8v8). So in total, you can have up to 16 people in a match
at once. Bigger doesn't always mean better. We want to focus on tactical
gameplay that lends itself well to smaller teams taking advantage of every
strategic nook and cranny they can find.
There are a variety of gang related features that we have in the works that we can't get too detailed on (including private Pads for your gang). But more than all that, it's just a lot more fun to play together with people you know (or get to know). There
will always be plenty to do even if you're not in a gang though.
There are no predefined character classes in the game. We have an open skill
system. There will be around 40 different abilities to specialize in and you
pick them based on how you like to play the game. Each ability will have three
levels of effectiveness. Points are deducted from your character's pool of
ability points. No single character will be able to have them all so you need
to figure out what kinds of things you like. If you go down a path and end up
wanting to try something else without rolling an alt, you can re-spec (1st
time is free).
When a gang reaches a certain size and level they have earned the privilege of
buying their very own hideout! As it stands there will be a ton of
options/themes available at launch so that the gangs will be able to pimp out
their crib however they like.
