I noticed on my steam created CC account that a large hex number was added as a code. Codes of that form that I have read about were one time use, so if steam did not add it when it created your account it's probably no longer around as Banksey said.
Another starter code was "facebookstarter" that might still work though I have no idea if it does. There was a thread on this a while back and searching for that code turns it up. Make sure you read the last post before you get excited about that thread though.
