Depend in what weapon are you trying to put in the character's equipment.
The First Slot: SMG and Pistols
The Second Slot: AR and Shotgun.
The Third Slot: Sniper Rifle, Light Machine Gun, Rocket Launcher and GL.

Also check the required level and durability. You can't equip weapons that are broken (eg. 0/2500) or that are too high a level for you.

Hey
I have a few guns in my backpack, but I cannot move them to the character's equipment windows even they are empty. What's the right way to equip the character? I've been trying just by click left mouse and then drag to the window... but nothing happend.
Its ok now
