The actual game you're joining (Stockpile, Safe guard, PvP and so on) Isn't a user hosted match, It is all run on the main server, Which to my knowledge is hosted in Texas, USA. Similar how a battleground would work if you've ever played a game like world of warcraft. So unfortuantly, If you're lagging, There isn't much that can be done.
(None of this is offical, Just how I believe all this stuff works, I could be very wrong on the subject)

This can be caused if there are other players in the game from certain regions as well. Not that I am attacking anyone of other regions but obviously, when a region not near the main server is involved, lag can become possible.

I am an aussie also and I play on Jericho. No real lag for me, occasionally I get some lag in the hub areas (waiting for bank to open, waiting for mailbox to open, waiting for A/H to open etc) but usually in games everything is fine.
I do however encounter the odd laggy player (sometimes its not lag its a hack) but I usually see other people complaining or saying "GTFO lagger !" in the match chat so I know it is not just me.

The server is not in Texas. Its in New Jersey.

Server IP lookup claims Phoenix, Arizona. X)

maybe the server has been cut into 3 parts. 1/3 in Texas, 1/3 in Arizona, and 1/3 in New Jersey...?

Hey!
I'm GamersRemote, obviously Australian. I've tried this wonderful game for about 30minutes - 1hour and loved every second of it, however when I went to do a mission and noticed there was a sever for that current mission I thought it was awesme. Going into this server and noticing the lag is terrible, unable to play it due to the high lag. This makes me wonder, am I going to go through this entire game with games filled with horrible lag and glitchyness.
