Hello. I'm downloading the game right now. Is there any important things I should know when i start. Is there any guides on the forums I can read that are for beginners?

When you start, you will go through the in-game tutorial which will teach you the basics of the game.

2 notes on the prologue:

1. One mission will tell you to pick up a phone mission, so make sure you have at least one available and untouched.

2. Another mission will prompt you to repair your gear, use the "repair all" button, do not individually repair them.
