Quote | ConkertheCat posted on Oct 17 2011 02:20 AM UTCI have noticed somethign wrong with the mouse in game. It is like...if you turn off the help settings in every default computer. It keeps moving a bit even after you stop moving the mouse.
Its really hard to explane but its making it almost impossible to aim or even select a option in the game options. I have looked all over for a way to fix this in the settings but see none. Also no i do not mean the 'mouse senetivity' Its far worse when the mouse doesnt stop moving when you stop it.
The best I can desc this as is when you disable the auto mouse help on any default computer.
Is there a way to fix this?
I already made a post on this issue here. Bump it if you would like.

you have to install ati try tools and you have to allow it to install unsigned drivers. that is the easy way. i explained it as best i could, just follow the posting carefully.
ill give you cliff notes ASSUMING you are using an ATI card since you can't follow the posting:
Click on your Start menu and in the ‘Search programs and files’ search box(or as a Run command), type in GPEdit.msc and press Enter.
On the left, under the User Configuration Category, expand the Administrative Template folder, then expand System, then select Driver Installation. In the right, Right-click the item named Code Signing for Device Drivers and click Edit. On the left, select the Disabled option and click OK.
Now you can install ati tray tools.
after it is installed:
Right click on the ATT tray icon, and hover over 3D and click Settings. Click the tab Additional. Near The bottom you will see a drop down box called Flip Queue Size. Select 1. Then hit Apply, and close the window. Your Done!

i dont think any games let you specify the flip queue size or prerendered frames. It has to do with the way the game is coded. I wish ati and nvidia would ship there drivers with flip queue size defined as 1. this is the only way to fix the laggy input problem. since you run in test mode all you have to do is download the tool and set the setting and your good.

This however idk...thanks for the info and the help but i think ill pass on this game, jut glad steam had it for free :s

thats unfortunate. i actually learned this fix from playing fable, as it too had a laggy input problem. atleast now you know the fix when you run into it again. crimecraft is a great game, i hate to see one go due to an issue that is actually driver related.

Well.....the game is a BIT miss leading in a way. As free players cant 'Craft' and its about IMPOSSIBLE to comit a 'Crime' as the name suggests. All it seems to be about is running around shooting people. Also a FTP vs a paid to play is waaay unblanced i have noticed.
Oh and not being able to jump is really bad :S
The intro story was okay but meh...i was expecting something else really :s

this game is more shooter than mmo, as opposed to alot of other cross genre mmo shooters. it's not everyones cup of tea, so i can understand that. the pay to play isnt as unbalanced as it seems, you may actually be playing against a high level with an alt that knows the game mechanics and boosts better than new players, but this is being fixed in the next big patch, so be sure to check back in in a couple of months.
