Most online games(more so shooters rather than RPG's) that involve PvP won't have a strategy guide type book, the best kind of guides are written on the forums also most online games if not all will have a forum dedicated to guides and there usually the most helpful.
All the professions work the same. You need to learn recipes from your profession trainer and create the items. The higher level your profession the better quality you can make. Recipes coloured in orange have a 100% chance level your profession, yellow coloured items give you a 75% chance and white gives you a 25% chance. Any items in grey won't level your profession.
The shotgun is known at the moment for being a bit overpowered but there are ways to counter it using different builds of skills and boosts.
You can start your own gang by buying a gang charter. These are sold buy a vendor who is rightout where the gang hideout are, sorry I don't know there symbol. Once you buy the charter you will have to get 10 (I think it's ten) people to sign it and once its full your gang will be created.
Glad your liking PvP and are enjoying Crimecraft :)

The gang charter is to rename your gang. Find the guy represented on the map as a fist icon and go see him. That is where you apply to start a gang. In order to start a gang you must be level 10 and have the right amount of money... you will then need a few players to sign a "petition" and you will be on your way! Good luck and welcome to Sunrise!

Thank You Banksey69 and xnighthawkx. Both of you have been most helpful. I do have one more question though. My F buttons (F1, F2, etc.) keep taking me to my web browser, changing the brightness, and F4 comes up as the "change character" menu in battle. I tried turning them off on my computer, just dissabling them, but it didn't work. Then I tried it in game with the options - controlls menu, but again, I can't figure out how to do it. I highlight a button, then try to press the button I wanted to change it to. Didn't work. I highlighted another then right clicked on another, and still nothing. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thnx.

When you are in the control config screen (be sure you selected the battle controls) you need to double click in order to change the ones you want reconfigured.

Ok, let's see, where do I start? First off, I'm new to the entire PVP world. I have been obsessed with shooter games since 007 Goldeneye came out for the N64, and PVP is an amazing thing that I can't believe I hadn't discovered previously. I have so many questions, but let's start with the one I've been trying to figure out the most....Is there an actual Book style Strategy Guide to this game or is it just the forums? I'm happy either way, but I do better with a guide I don't have to look for online and read threads. A few other questions I've been wanting to ask are :
1) How does the Tailoring work? I'm just a lolly engineer and I'd like to get clothes that will withstand more than a short burst of AR fire, or two blasts from a shotty. If there is none, that's ok with me, but I see other players that survive an entire LMG clip that aren't using Second Chance, it baffels me, are they cheating??
2) I'd like to believe I've got the Weapons figured out. I know there are rare Attachements/Ammo that help. However, I've been repeatedly "raped" by a shotgun from 30 feet away. WTF??
3) How do I start my own Gang? I've joined two gangs so far and they're amazing with the way they help out new people and I'd like to contribute by starting my own gang. It's nothing against my current gang, I just like to do everything a game offers.
That's about it. I appreciate any feedback.
That's about it really, I don't want you guys to spell everything out for me, I like a challenge. Any helpfull response will be much appreciated
