Steam has released starter gear you just have to be a member at the time it's given. I've received two sets, unfortunately it's bind on pick up.

The most recent one was the steampunk pack(which had nothing to do with steampunk :p). I think it ended on the 16th. You had to log into crimecraft, via steam, while the promotion was still on.
