I just left thte tutorial area for the city and I can't do a thing. Every Npc and payphone say "What's your problem? Get outta here."  and when I press tab, all of the menu options are greyed out.  What am I supposed to do?

 Press esc, drop back to character select, and then log back in, should fix your issues :) If not drop another post here and we can have a look :)
