First off, welcome!
If you are looking to make some money on your craft instead of just outfiting yourself and your gang, I would recomend engeneering. They make ammo which is a useable item. That meaning that there will always be need since it runs out. Where the guns once bought if kept up will not run out. Though I make guns, I do it more for my gang and myself than for the money side of things. The AH (Auction Hall) is a wonderful thing. Watch the trends and find out what sells best for you.
