There's no easy catch all answer to this....
But a few tips are:
- Pick your profession wisely as this can equate to making more money in the long run, there's plenty of threads about that.
- If you really want money a premium membership will raise your credit value for just about everything, matches, missions, etc.
- there's double xp, loot, and money drinks that can be bought with gold bars.
- SFG & HHT missions in hard mode seem to be my primary source of income.

Play stockpile matches, get tons of containers (100+). Play on normal difficulty, go for quantity not quality. Open all of them and hope for some nice goods. Keep what is for your profession and anything useful, then go and sell the ingredients that you do not need.
With a bit of luck you will get some ingredients that are in very high demand all the time, some of these go for 1k+ each piece. Note that higher level ingredients are not necessarily more expensive, some level 1 ingredients are used so much that they are often in short supply and therefore catch a good price.
So selling ingredients on the AH and playing matches (with premium membership if you can get it) is your best bet for some quick cash to start with.
On the long run its up to your craft choice like already mentioned, look around the forums for hints on that one.

LOL how do you get 100 containers? I'm lucky if i get 20. When I hit level 40 it became so much dificult even on normal. Is there a specific setup you use for stockpile?

You wont get 100 in one go... but 3-6 runs should do it depending on how well you do it. Refer to the thread above for some really good tips on effectively stockpiling.
And yes you should definitely use a specific setup for stockpile matches. I would go as far as saying to have a separate profile for STP if you can afford it. In general you are looking to increase your survivability as much as possible... abilities like second chance and heal grenades with the appropriate +60HP instant AUG really help. More details in the thread above... ;)

that's ok for normal and easy, but i have found(thanks to DrSeptimus) that the most effective method in stockpile is to not kill anything at all. I can grab 25-35 containers without even trying in lxm completely naked. All you need is Invisy, Wind Shadow, and Second Chance. This is how:
When you spawn, equip your pistol/smg, cloak, run to the nearest container about 10 feet away, uncloak, and knife jump onto the container. Let them kill you. You will pick up the container before you die every time. When you respawn, repeat.
