hey...im a newbie here!

ive hit lvl 20ish, got myself a few stars and kills and now im just wondering what makes this different to any other online fps-esque game out there today (or yesterday for that matter)?

so far it seems pretty much identical to everything ive tried, got addicted too, ranked in and quit already. same limited maps, same limited game formats, same weapons, same (mentally) limited gamers, the list goes on

can someone tell me im wrong? give me some pros? or have i finally had my fill of playing the same tired games under different guises?

i bought a dog and am now teaching him to play chess. its going well but i keep having to wait for him to poop out the pieces he takes

still, quite suprised an entire community cant come up with any pro's that seperate cc from the rest

Well, I here this complaint all the time especially when it comes to pvp content, but rarely do I hear anybody coming up with any new an innovative ideas , because if they had some then we probably would not be having this conversation.<o:p></o:p>

Why do you need the community to justify the game to you? <o:p></o:p>

Play if you find it fun, if not then don’t play it just move on to the next.  New and innovative don’t mean squat if it isn’t any fun   <o:p></o:p>

I play it cause I like shooters and I love the mmoesq  features (crafting , mail,  community).<o:p></o:p>

Is it new and innovative? Well it definitely has some nice twists.  this and apb  make me more excited for the games to follow in their footsteps then the actual games themselves. <o:p></o:p>

But I will continue to play as long as I having fun.

i agree with  techknowcat.

i would say this game has a lot different from other games.

1.crafting attachments/guns/boosts/ and sell them or use them

2.daily tournament makes it lil more exciting which other games doesn't really have this feature (so far i seen)

3.gangs.. in other game u may have guilds,but i bet there is no guild hide out or party and storage system.

4.mailing system.it is some kind of new ,going to nearest mail box and read it and get stuff (if any1 sent u)

so i would say these points really makes crimecraft as unique game and modern game .

techknow, im not asking for the game to be justified, i was simply asking for the experienced players to point out what this game has that others doesnt rather than playing it for weeks myself only to find out it is a duplicate to everything else out there. is that not fair enough?

well it is a duplicate of everything else at its heart , has most of the same modes that your typical tps/fps have and a bunch of the typical  mmo/rpg elements, and when I first tried it last year, I was not terribly impressed.  

however they kept the most important aspect of an mmo, and that is it is a dynamic game they change, improve and add new stuff all the time. which is why when I gave it another try I was like whoa... this is fun!

will you find the game fun and exciting in a few weeks time, I can't tell you that. 

personally if I am board with it in a few weeks, I still wont feel like I have wasted my time or money, its defiantly a better value than some games out there you pay 50 bucks for, play for 5 or 6 hours and its done   

I like that you cannot buy the top gear in the game with real money meaning (in most cases) everyone else has to work hard to get that gear too (unless you have generous friends who give it all to you).  This coupled with the fact that you must work to level to unlock new skills keeps the challenge alive and forces the player to learn new strategies as they go in order to deal with the many different situations one must deal with as a defender of Sunrise and your Gang (or personal well being).
