That's what it says when you try to equip something into a class slot. Classes come as they are, and only change by upgrading their level.
Equipment you buy is for your custom character slot only.

im at 21 level and got the rocket guy and bought the rocket but no go baybe i have to be at level 25

so if i buy the custom character slot i think its 50 bars then i can use whats in the back pack?

Your first custom slot shouldn't cost gold bars. I think it cost me $15-$20 in-game cash. The game had me buy one during the tutorial. But yes you would be able to use your equipment from your backpack. You have to equip it fully yourself, and also have to purchase the abilities for it. Its quite expensive.

so right now i show 2 guys i have and i can swicth from i from the other that i see so your saying class profile and that cost 50 bars then i can use the back pack? no other way?
