Game on! LA's Mayor talks to press under CrimeCraft signage

The day before the show started (Monday) we were invited to attend a closed event to show off CrimeCraft to the Hollywood elite. A bunch of Producer/Director types wanted to check out new games coming out to look for new IP for movies, CrimeCraft: The Motion Picture! It was a great event where we got to meet a few celebs (Chuck, Napolean Dynomite, Hiro from Heroes, etc). The game showed great and we were in good company. We were stationed between the PlayStation and EA crews. Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain and Dante’s Inferno all look amazing.

We got back to the show floor and ended up being there until close to midnight getting the booth ready for the show. We rolled off to the hotel with everything set up. Except of course our internet connection which was still dead…

The morning was great, internet was ready 15 mins before the floor opened (and went periodically down throughout the show, everyone was in the same boat on this). The show as a whole went amazingly well. It was the perfect balance from years gone by. Big, but not chaotic. E3 is back to form of years past and it was a blast showing off the latest build to the folks that stopped by the booth. We were booked solid with appointments for press, but still found some time to show off the game to a bunch of our peers in the industry as well as some of our partners.

All in all, LA was fun. It’s full of potential NPC concepts…

Press is starting to roll in from the interviews we did, we’ll post them here as they hit.

Be sure to drive-by our Facebook page for more E3 snapshots!
