What do you do on CrimeCraft?
I’m a technical artist – the only link between programmer, art and gamedesign teams. I consult with people on how to make real-time 3D work and look nice. Mostly everything you see in CrimeCraft has my touch on it.
What other titles have you worked on?
Ok, my list consists of first person shooters developed in ex-USSR: STALKER, You Are Empty, and Instinct. I have worked on shooters primarily. This is the best way I could find to get the most fun out of an everyday job.
How did you get involved in your game industry role?
I couldn’t stand the way those games were made in 90’s. The only way to fix something is to do it yourself.
What's your favorite game?
Argh, when will they remove this typical and damn difficult question?
Ok, I do play games, and try to play a lot of them. Well, I even have to. It’s my job, after all...
But anyway, the most fun I get from playing my own creations. There are a lot of great things that can be done when no producer stands above you with a list of PG-13 restrictions.
What kind of music do you listen to?
Music is the thing that drives my mood. Mood helps me to create. If a noise drives me, I listen to it.
