Andrew Greon at The Game Reviews posted a hands-on preview of CrimeCraft in which he comments on how easy it was to pick up and play:

Both the shooting and adversarial modes of CrimeCraft are quite fun, as this part of the game seems to play quite well. I was able to pick up the controls within minutes and felt that the game was solid enough to compete solely as a shooter.

Two Hammers over at Game Bunny included this blurb about us during E3 Day Two's write-up:

Mike Donatelli, a Senior Game Designer for Vogster’s CRIMECRAFT, gave me a deep run-down of this urban warfare action’er. Donatelli was quick to point out that the game, due this August, isn’t really an MMO. There are many persistent aspects, such as character levels, clans, and unlocked items - but CRIMECRAFT is primarily a twitched-based shooter where cappin’ foos in instances and collecting loot rewards afterward (doled out according to your contribution to the fight) is the order of the day.
