Both Stelonidas and Sado saw the Sunrise Times Thread and left it alone!!  Why was it deleted???

What the hell is going on here??  We were told players were not allowed to post their opinions here however they could do it anywhere else.  We gave them a place to voice their opinions.  There was absolutely nothing said in the thread that could be deemed offensive in any way, we simply told the players exactly what the moderators told us!  Now why was a perfectly legitimate thread deleted???

I believe because it contains content that would have been deleted were it posted here. It's the same thing as not posting, but linking porn.

Btw, perhaps you could change the theme of the blog, or give readers the option? I look at a computer monitor most of the day, but that really hurts my eyes, the dark patterned background and white text. It's like staring at an optical illusion for too long.

 i forget who but i believe he/she made it clear that disclosing slander about the GM's on the forums, including linking to any other websites with a direct correlation to GM defaming will be deleted

Thank you for the input Avarice, what sort of color scheme do you feel would be a better fit? 

And to the GMs and the Crime Craft Community, our blog is not being slanderous or defamatory in any way shape or form.  Our blog will be moderated as this site is and direct attacks on Vogster, Sleepy Giant, Crime Craft or any of the employees will be moderated.  We are simply using the blog as an open discussion to get true feedback weather it is good or bad experiences from the community so that you may see what areas need improvement and issues will not be swept under a proverbial rug.  We encourage players to submit their issues and experiences so that they can be openly discussed without full threads being deleted on a whim.  We are not condoning slander or misinformation and any issues must be backed with hard evidence showing that there is in fact an issue and it is not just some trollish slander fest.

This blog will also be used to collect input for stories, articles and helpful input that we hope can garner some attention towards the empty newspaper stands that can be found throughout the different districts of Sunrise City.  So again, we are not looking to slander Vogster, Crime Craft or anyone involved with the production of the game, we are simply giving the community a place to have their say, be creative, and hopefully help to bring some much needed change to issues that they feel are not getting the attention that they deserve.

Again thank you for your input and we hope to see some good come from this little venture by the community, for the community.

Something that does not contrast so much. If you must keep the monochrome idea, perhaps medium shades of gray rather than absolute black. The eye and mind don't like such sharp contrasts for concentration, especially when you throw a pattern into the mix. It detracts from the subject matter as well as tires the reader.

Slapped a different layout on it.  Check it out and let us know what you think.  I need to get some sleep as I got some training in the morning!

I keep hearing it being thrown around that we are trying to censor this third-party website. This is simply false in every possible way. We do not have the authority, ability, or interest to intervene in such a website. What we do have the ability to do is moderate these forums, and we have an obligation to do so in accordance to the Rules of Conduct. Having said that, any post that breaks the rules will be deleted and any link to another website with content that is in violation of our Rules of Conduct will not be permitted to remain on these forums. Simple as that.

Some people are acting surprised at our enforcement of long-standing rules. I do not understand this, nor do I understand the surprise when violators of the rules discover that there are consequences. This is not a rule we recently created. It has been in place since before I was even a GM/Moderator. The Rules of Conduct, Terms of Use, and EULA are all right down there at the bottom of the page in red and have always been there. I welcome anyone who is confused to review them. Topic closed.
