No one real knows too much about Pockets, only why they calls him Pockets. See early in his time around the city, before he came into the moat he was sleeping in a camp you know, round a fire, and this guy tried to go through his pockets. Guy musta figured he was drunk. Well Pockets sprung up and said, "Get your hands outta my Goddamn Pockets!!!" And shot him three times clean through but down at him so the bullets stuck right in the dirt. Then the guy they call Pockets got his stuff together, wasn't much, and went into the ruins on the way to the city. Guy who tried to go in his pockets just kept repeating the last thing he heard while he bled out. "Pockets, Pockets, Pockets," till he said it fast and breathed out all the way on the "s" making it, "Pocketssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss." And then he just laid there, deflated, while the blood looked shiny where it pooled and muddy where it didn't.
