So is this an actual Machinima? Or are we allowed free reign to post montages and the like? What are the limitations on the videos?

Hey guys,
We're not putting limits on the content because we want to see YOUR video vision. But, if you want some ideas, we recently put in some new content, the Nightclubs, that make for some compelling video. Remember, we're an unrated game, so we don't have qualms about edgy content :) Entries don't have to be solely game footage, so feel free to spice it up with real-life scenes. Montages, game video, funny kills, nightclub dance parties, it's all free game.
Just don't use any copyrighted material that you don't have the rights to ... like music or TV/movie footage. That's one of the few things that will get you disqualified.

Time limits would all be 10 minutes unless we have some youtube partners with us.

For those interested to team up - I really suck hardcore at video editing/recording and Machinima; however.. I'm very creative.
I already have a storyboard ready with some really good ideas; a music track to use and already flagged events on a timeline to give a good editor an idea of the video footeage my project requires.

Caution: This poster is extremely opinionated. A lot of people including staff do not always like what she has to say; but when someone has to say something or voice a bundle of thoughts for a greater group of customers - she's usually the person to step up and do so. Proceed into discussions with this person at own risk.

Not all music, TV, and/or movie footage is copyrighted. In fact there is a great deal of content out there that is available for download and to be edited and used. I hope you all don't kill my video because you dismiss it out of hand. I assure you that I only used collective commons material, and it was all obtained from sites specifically set up to share material.
