Yesterday I had a problem with small update. I couldn't update game so I tryed to solve this, and finally pressed repair button. I realised that i had to download whole game again. I canceled it, uinstalled crimecraft. After this I used my old version of installer, and installed game by it. After installing, i turned launcher, and there was again that my version is coruppted and I need to repair it (download whole game again). I checked my crimecraft folder, and there were only few files (about 2,5 mb). I downloaded newest game version by downloader from main website. Installed and there's again same problem. The game just doesn't install. How to solve this ?

Please try to download this client launcher file to patch/update CrimeCraft:

I download the client launcher, and replaced it with my old launcher. But nothing worked, it just said the same thing again, your version is corrupted and you can try to repair it. I've done reapiring like 3 times but nothing else worked.

Have you tried moving the executable to your desktop and opening it (without replacing the original file)? Make sure the original shortcut/executable is not on your desktop when you open the file.

Yes, When I double clicked on the launcher it says version has corrupted and need to be repaired. I checked my CClauncher notepad file and it says "C:\Program Files\Vogster Entertainment\CrimeCraft\Binaries\build_version.dat" not found

If you could give me this file I might be able to fix this problem. I don't know lets give it a try shall we??

At me such problem: there was a last update (on December, 21st 2010) at me starts to swing at first 72 Mb then on half increase to 145Мб and then to 200 + and then gives out that game has become outdated and it is necessary to update game again! HELP please! 

Please submit a customer service ticket (http://www.crimecraft.com/cs_tickets/new) and please include your launch logs and dxdiag file.

To find your dxdiag file, follow these instructions:

1. Click Start and then Run
2. Type "dxdiag" and select OK
3. When the Direct X Diagnostic tool pops up select "Save All Information" at the bottom on the screen and save the file. Remember where you save it!

To find your launch logs, you must go to wherever you installed CrimeCraft (usually Documents -> My Games -> CrimeCraft -> CrimeCraftGame -> Logs).

Put in this post logs for the launcher. In launcher press Options->View Log.

not to be a naggy person, but seriously? So many people have this bug after patching the game. What is wrong? It must be something that the devs can correct easy.

 Yeah, I had to do a full re-install to fix that error. Only to get another error -.- . Tells me I need to update, but won't let me update. If I do a manual patch, it fixes this error, but gives me a 'check' error. >.>

EDIT: Wouldn't let me update, so I manually hit 'repair' and now its downloading 3gb for some reason. fml.
