Here are some answers to some common questions:

Why was my post rated badly?

A person may rate a post negatively if its talking about an issue that's already been discussed, if its a bad idea, or if they personally do not like the writer or how the suggestion is presented.   Don't worry though, the rating of a message does not affect your community points or your overall player rating. 

Where did my post go?

Sometimes a moderator may move a post to a hidden forum for further bug-testing if the topic relates to a potential exploit, bug, or borked functionality. Don't take it personally! 

Why is my topic locked?

Generally, a moderator will post the reason the thread is locked right before they lock it.  There are several reasons why a thread might get closed, the most common of which are duplicate topics and/or off-topic discussions. 

What are community points for?

Right now they're in place to reward members of our community for being actively involved.  Eventually there will be a way to spend them... shh.

 How do I stop getting emails from Crimecraft?

Click on MY ACCOUNT  and uncheck the boxes under ACCOUNT PREFERENCES.  You should stop receiving emails immediately.

Sorry if this has been covered before, which I'm sure it has but I was unable to locate the answer. In regards to the community points, at what time do the 'X' amount per day counters reset? Is it at midnight, or does it have to do with your registration time?

That is a great question, and one I haven't come accross the answer yet either.

And about that, how long have you been on this to get so many community points and what did you do to get them? I wouldn't be bothered but since you'll eventually be able to spend them on stuff, it's become an interesting topic.

I believe the crimecraft servers are on UTC... so I think that's what it's based on (and by my own rudimentary testing, I'm pretty sure I'm right).

community question, OK say i get my community points up to where in forum it says I'm say a burglar or conman and when or if they have a way for you to spend community points will the forum title be replaced by the equivalent rank after any points exchange? just curious as to see how that would work. also one thing someone could buy with community points would have to be extra emotes for the forums perhaps or maybe a fresh new profile background look for your profile and character profile pages. also maybe a special tag under a persons Avatar letting them display a personal gang rank or even their PVP ranks

ok i just got crime craft off of steam and it says self update launcher doesnt work. contact owners. can someone help me figure out what to do? cause it looks like a really cool game and i feel like playin.
