Fire Aug + 10% Fire damage at armor + 40% from Techniques + inciniary rounds = 9 damage pro tick.
it wrecks ppl faster down than anything and it feels OP.
tune fire down or build in some counter against it, maybe even some fire resistance. :)
I love fire, make it stronger
Then i might have a better chance againts these bess users as I am not very good with the DIS and CR. ![]()

I don't use fire very often, but it is really not op. If you make it weaker than it is it may become totally useless. And enough already about the no counter to it, you can use medpack to heal, etc. The only thing that really hurts and could be fatal is molotov, but those only kill the campers usually :D Remember, to use fire effectively it takes every skill slot, the only really optional one being molotov.
It is easier to learn the different skills, boosts, etc. than it is to ask the devs to nerf everything you do not like. There have been imbalances in the game before, this is not one of them.

Its not hard to counter full fire. The best counter is a full regenerator-like setup. At minimum you need DIS and enhanced recovery or the correct boost combination usually consisting a solid medkit. The regenerator class is probably the best kind've counter to full fire because it has a heal over time up constantly healing for 4-5 hp per second and a medkit that heals for 100+.

Guys, remember, Fire build requires all skill slots, which means that person has no DIS or liquid armor. This means damage boosts are typically effective against these people, as fire build users typically also use a damage boost. Junkie build or high regen build works great, high regen builds laugh at IR and molotov isnt a biggy.

the hell are you nomador doin? first you're crying cuz of bess, now fire, fire is very good now, almost everyone is using direct injection system and enhanced recovery and regen clothes so they can heal pretty fast + it is easy to avoid a throwed molotov, because it's radious isn't big, but i would like to see some clothes with bonuses that counter fire, that would be cool

well if there would be helmet or whatever with 10% fire resist, i would wear it.
i dont know where youre playing good amount off the non 50 players play a full fire setup and even some 50 do at cabrese.
i tried it myself and its damn strong. beside the annoying ticking damage up to 9 per tick, it also sucks your stamina and as long as it ticks, youre visible to everyone cause of the damage numbers.

IR was already nerfed, at one time, you couldnt boost while burning. Also the fire tick was also nerfed, it no longer shows the location of the player if you cannot see the player, it drops off and you only know the general direction, but not exactly where they are. Fire is not a big deal, it is more of a counter build than anything, it's a mediocre build that is almost always effective.

clothes with dmg absorb 2 and serum -5 dmg will reduce fire dmg to 0 per sec
