Actually the most comfortable and easy way to update client is automatic updating via launcher.

However, if you suffering persisting issues with standard client updating you may also try to update it manually.

First you need is check your current client version. Its stated in "build_version.dat" file that located in "Binaries" folder (so path will be like "...CrimeCraft\Binaries\build_version.dat"). Any simple text editor like NotePad can open it.

If you know the version of currently installed client you will be able to choose certain patches from the list below to download and install. Then you launch downloaded patch it will ask you to specify path to installed game.

Please note:

Its unnecessary to update client older than 0.25.02.84466 and we suggest to download new client from CrimeCraft web-site (http://www.crimecraft.com/download).

This does not help at all.

I have re-installed this game over 10 times repaired it..... And it still wont let me even see if i've been wasting my time trying to play this game.

So wait, I bought this game today at best buy, come home, install it.

Then I get the message: Version corrupted. Try to Repair.

The Version is 0.16.17.XXXXX.

In this post, it says that if we have a client older than 0.20.XX.XXXXX then to download the game.

Sooooo, what's the point of even selling the game in stores? o_O
