There are currently some issues with CrimeCraft when run on the Vista 32-bit operating system that cause the game to crash to the desktop.  We are aware that these problems exist and are working to fix the errors causing this.

Well to detail this issue for me would essentially be saying "whenever i do anything in CC i run the risk of crashing".  So that means in the lobby, pre-game, mid-game, post-game, while crafting, while just standing there, while trying to talk to npc's, while changing clothes, while changing guns, while talking in text chat in-game, did i miss anything that you do in CC?  I've got a good pc and all my drivers are updated.  I'm just hoping, since i already pre-ordered, you guys get this fixed as it is very annoying.

I really should add that its not only on Vista. It also happens a lot in Windows7 32Bits, but hey... that windows is only on RC version so dont really know if theres something you guys can actually do to fix it.

I use Vista 32-Bit and when I launch the game the duel pistols pops up, then seconds, and sometimes minutes later, it closes and a Not Responding window apprears.. glad to finally see the staff giving attention to this error..

 Happens more frequently loading instances and loading the lobby. Can also occur inside matches and inside the lobbies. Crashes to desktop with "Crimecraft.exe has stopped working"

Turning down my graphical settings to the lowest seems to lessen the occurence of the problem.

For me, CC crashed whenever I left an instance, before I could collect loot.

POSSIBLE SOLUTION: Someone mentioned this on another thread.  I lowered my settings.  I was running at 1400 x 900 with the graphics all at 75% and in full screen.  Last night I uninstalled the game and reinstalled, then lowered the resolution.  I've been able to play completely crash free and gradually messed with the settings to raise them almost back to what I was without crashing.

I don't know if the reinstall had anything to do with it but I'm throwing it out there.  Unless CC had some kind of crash fix in the last 24 hours, then for me this issue was entirely related to the settings.

I have had 2 random CTD's so far both occured while loading an instance.

Vista Basic 32bit

Radeon HD 3850, 4gigs ram, nvidia chipset

Happens related to graphics, if i turn it up to highest it will crash the minute i enter the lobby area, ill see the 1st frame of the lobby then it will give me crimecraft.exe has stopped working.

If i leave it on lowest settings it will last around 15-20 minutes till it says that message. its graphics related somehow.

I'm crashing a lot to. It's pretty much random except I don't seem to crash while I'm in an instance.

With graphics on high, it crashes very frequently. With all settings on 2 bars, it ALWAYS crashes when loading the 2nd instance.

I am running Vista and 7 32-bit, ATI 4870 1GB.
