CrimeCraft: BleedOut update, game version 0.25.01.81517 (2011/01/31)

BleedOut Campaign

• Episodes 6-8 released

     o All players who completed the first 5 episodes will be able to continue the campaign
     o Premium and deluxe players will get the episode tickets for free in their in-game mail
     o Free-to-play users can buy episode tickets on Black Market

• New BleedOut items available:

     o BleedOut Theater Pass – players can use this item to review all BleedOut campaign movies. Players will get it for free upon completion of the BleedOut campaign
     o BleedOut Season Rewind Ticket and BleedOut Episode Rewind Ticket – players can use these items to replay the BleedOut campaign or random episode from it. Available on the Black Market after completing the BleedOut campaign. You can buy any number of tickets if you want to replay the campaign more than once

• Lobbies

     o Players who didn’t buy the BleedOut Black Book now can press “View on Map” button to see the location of the combat instance when playing the BleedOut Campaign
     o Now you can buy Acid Blast Energy Lite, Fat Wad Energy Lite and Powerload Energy Lite buffs in Maxym Red club in Downtown
     o Municipal Historian text updated

• New features

     o Added messages in lobby telling when an episode starts or ends
     o Bosses now use more weapons
     o When a character dies in "Cry Wolf" mission, music is played
     o Added "View on Map" button for the instanced missions (if a player cannot interact with an NPC remotely, "View of Map" button is also unavailable)
     o When a player is completing the last step in a mission, NPC interaction window is closed automatically

• New Maps and Game Types

     o Players can unlock 3 new PvP maps while progressing through new episodes in BleedOut Campaign:
     o Deckard Harbor: The lowest level of Deckard Plaza had once been an open, thriving port district, but has since become a dense, desperate slum thriving in the shadows of the more affluent buildings that tower overhead

          • The location is unlocked during episode 6
          • Accessible from officer Crow in Oceanside
          • Game types (only PvP): Snatch and Grab, Robbery, Shootout, Riot

   o Municipality Bank: This is the city's primary banking center, where large amounts of the city's wealth are stored. This includes official Municipality funds, as well as private funds controlled by different members of The Scorpion Chamber

          • The location is unlocked during episode 6
          • Accessible from officer Kalb in Midtown Square
          • Game types (only PvP): Snatch and Grab, Robbery, Shootout, Riot
          • Different areas of the map are unlocked in different game types

     o Maxym Alley: The back alley behind Club Maxym Red is notorious for its private gladiator matches. It is small, with few places to hide, which makes it extremely dangerous
          • The location is unlocked during episode 9
          • Accessible from officer Goldman in Downtown
          • Game types (only PvP): Snatch and Grab, Capture the Zone, Shootout, Riot
          • Accessing BleedOut maps. Now players can access all BleedOut maps without playing the BleedOut campaign

     o To do this you must complete a mission given by the Municipal Overseer NPC who is responsible for this location

          • Belly Street – Officer Peters in Downtown
          • Deckard Harbor – Officer Crow in Oceanside
          • Municipality Bank – Officer Kalb in Midtown Square
          • Maxym Alley – Officer Goldman in Downtown. This mission is available only after Episode 9 is released

     o These missions will require you to complete PvP tasks
     o This is an alternative way to access new maps – if you play through the BleedOut campaign, you won’t have to complete these missions

• Capture the Zone gametype is now available on the following maps (some of them have only one zone):

     o Old Sunrise City Hall
     o Center Street Station
     o Olympia Mill & Lumberyard
     o Sunrise Harbor
     o Isopach Oil

New Features

• Doppelganger Item Sets

     o These are sets of abilities, clothes, weapons and boosts – essentially, predesigned character builds
     o The Creep – Runs quickly, never tires while sprinting, throws shock grenades and usually kills with the knife. Uses only light weapons
     o Street Thug – Has an increased HP level, defensive combat abilities, and enough damage resistance to perform the function of the defender
     o Mob Boss – Ideal both for attack and defense, has an increased damage resistance level, mines and corrosion grenades
     o Sergeant Stealth – A tricky "invisible man" with heavy weapons
     o General Grenadier – A well balanced build for all life emergencies, has more grenades than usual
     o Master Guns – Another version of a balanced build for all life emergencies
     o Napalm Engineer – Uses fire based abilities, has an increased HP level
     o Heavy Hitter – Hard as a rock, has an increases HP and damage resistance level
     o Speed Demon – An agile "invisible man" that quickly moves around the map
     o Eagle Eye – Possesses deadly abilities for long-ranged combat but has a low damage resistance
     o The Big Easy – Very simple and easy to play character, has no active abilities, all bonuses work passively
     o Each set is an item that can be put in character’s inventory or equipped by a character
     o When equipped, the Doppelganger blocks certain character slots providing its own bonuses instead

          • Players exchange cards collected in BLEEDOUT missions for Doppelganger item sets
          • Combinations are similar to poker combinations
          • Cards are acquired through BleedOut campaign
          • Cards can be traded or sold on Auction House

• New character abilities added

     o SatCom – ability to see enemy mines, invisibility detectors, turrets and C4
     o Wind Shadow – ability to sprint while using camouflage system
     o Rocket turret – ability to place a turret shooting rockets
     o LMG turret – ability to place a turret shooting bullets
     o Flash grenade – ability to throw a blinding grenade
     o Second chance – ability to avoid death and get back to action

• Player signatures added

     o Each player can set up a unique signature in the Signature tab of the Character window
     o Signatures will be displayed on scoreboards and leaderboards instead of nicknames
     o Signatures will be displayed on friendlist and black list instead of nicknames
     o Signatures have a lot of information about character

          • Name
          • Level
          • PvP ranking
          • Title
          • Reputation
          • Gang name
          • Gang icon
          • Awards

               o Award is a new type of reward which shows an area a person is good at
               o Each award has 6 degrees of quality
               o Awards are given in categories for PVP Score, Wealth, Character Progress, Leadership, Special Achievements and Game Time

          • You can unlock new signature backgrounds by acquiring reputation
          • Each month leaderboard winners will be rewarded with unique icons displayed next to their character names in lobbies and on their signatures. These icons will be valid until the month is over and new monthly leaderboard winners are chosen
          • New reputation titles are available now, they will be changing as character acquires more reputation

• More customization options

     o Glasses – new item type added into the game
     o Characters now have a new item slot on their paper doll to equip glasses
     o New clothes and make ups added

• Jobs & Missions

     o Added new jobs for Headhunt, Capture the Zone and Riot gametypes
     o Added jobs that require you to kill new NPC-types: berserkers, technicians, ghosts, heavies and hammers
     o "Never Surrender" and "Crushing All Foes" jobs are now easier to complete

Features Updated

• General

     o Added gametype name in the lobby reminder when a player is about to enter an instance
     o Boosts icons updated

• Combat

     o Bullet penetration coefficient increased
     o Characters using a rocket launcher can now jump knife
     o It is no longer possible to switch weapons while sprinting
     o Female animation reverted to the way it was before BleedOut
     o Updated grenade physics and sounds

• Character abilities

     o LMG Training, Grenade Launcher Training, Rocket Launcher Training, Sniper Rifle Training removed. All characters can now equip and use light machineguns, grenade launchers, rocket launchers and sniper rifles by default

     o Incendiary Rounds

          • While burning, a character now loses 20% of his current stamina per second  

     o Molotov [filtered]tail

          • Damage reduced by 20%
          • While burning, a character now loses 20% of his current stamina per second

     o Corrosion Grenade

          • When hit by a grenade, a character loses all stamina

     o HVI Rounds

          • Critical strike chance is now always 100%
          • Ability level 1: damage increased by 100% (multiplied by 2)
          • Ability level 2: damage increased by 200% (multiplied by 3)
          • Ability level 3: damage increased by 300% (multiplied by 4)

     o Salvage Mastery

          • Cost decreased from 10 skill points to 6 skill points

     o Embezzlement

          • Rewards increased
          • Ability level 1: reward increased from 5% to 8%
          • Ability level 2: reward increased from 10% to 14%
          • Ability level 3: reward increased from 15% to 20%

     o Charge Compression

          • Cost increased from 5 skill points to 8 skill points

     o Enhanced Endurance

          • Ability level 3: decreases all resists by 8%

     o Cluster Rocket

          • Activation time decreased by 1 sec
          • Ability level 2: cost decreased from 4 skill points to 3 skill points
          • Ability level 3: cost decreased from 8 skill points to 6 skill points

     o Cluster Grenade

          • Activation time decreased by 0.8 sec
          • Ability level 2: cost decreased from 4 skill points to 3 skill points
          • Ability level 3: cost decreased from 8 skill points to 6 skill points

     o Heartbeat Detector

          • Cooldowns decreased to 15 sec
          • Activation time decreased to 1 sec
          • Duration time increased
          • Ability level 1: duration is 15 sec
          • Ability level 2: duration is 20 sec
          • Ability level 3: duration is 25 sec

     o Fragmentation Grenade

          • Detonation time decreased from 3.5 sec to 2 sec

     o Smoke Grenade

          • Detonation time decreased from 3.5 sec to 2 sec

     o Fire Control Techniques

          • Fire damage increased from 30% to 40%
          • Ability level 2 added: costs 5 skill points, adds another Molotov [filtered]tail

     o PSP Rounds

          • No longer provides 20% LMG damage boost

• Gunsmith crafting profession

     o The profession was completely revamped, craft recipes have been changed
     o Gunsmiths can create all weapon types present in the game now
     o The number of WMKs was substantially reduced
     o Added new AUGs
     o Gunsmith ingredients were revamped
     o A number of unique ingredients remain roughly the same
     o Fewer ingredients are available through loot
     o More ingredients can be bought from crafting vendor
     o Some ingredients are available only through crafting

• Weapon Modification Kits

     o Introduced more than 20 new WMKs
     o Each of these new WMKs can be used to dye any weapon
     o WMK now also apply color to all attachments (added before or after a WMK is applied)
     o All new WMKs can be crafted by a gunsmith and found in loot
     o Old WMKs remain in the game unchanged, but they can’t be crafted nor obtained in loot

• AUGs

     o Combat AUGs were redesigned as following:

          • Combat AUGs alter only abilities learned by a character
          • Combat AUGs now have a limited number of uses (work like ammo and boosts)
          • Combat AUGs can now be assigned to character profiles

     o Lobby AUGs were redesigned as following:

          • Altered attributes changed by lobby AUGs, added some new attributes
          • A lobby AUG is shared for all character profiles (i.e. different lobby AUGs cannot be assigned to profiles)

     o All new AUGs can be crafted by a gunsmith, some of them may be found in loot
     o Old AUGs remain in the game unchanged, but they can’t be crafted nor obtained in loot

• Friendlist

     o To add a player to your friendlist you need to send a request to that player
     o If your request is accepted, the player is added to your friendlist
     o If your request is denied, you can send it again

UI Improvements

     o Learn ability interface reworked

          • Now players don’t have to visit a skill trainer to learn a skill. This can be done directly in the skills window
          • Players still have to visit a trainer to roll back their skills

     o The reminder text now mentions both the location name and game type name when sending the player in an instance to fulfill a mission
     o Added a reminder about WMK destruction
     o New scoreboard is available in instances (you can choose to display the old one in the game menu)
     o Player status (online/offline) is no longer displayed on the Black List
     o Crafting interface: you can choose to craft an ingredient by clicking on the ingredient icon on an item recipe which requires that ingredient (you need to have the recipe for the ingredient)
     o Character skills interface was updated: underlying texture changed, abilities’ levels are displayed with indicators with digits corresponding to current ability levels
     o Gang Battle interface updated
     o Added profile tabs to skill panel (it is now easier to set abilities for each profile)
     o Added a sound notifying a player about new Smartphone message
     o You can now disable mission reminders in lobbies

Bug Fixes

• General

     o Fixed the lighting and positions of the boards in Downtown
     o Fixed several achievements
     o Fixed grenade collision with globe in Misuki Tower
     o Adjusted indicator for chosen NPC: now you see a marker showing where the NPC is even if you don’t see him/her
     o You can no longer leave an empty field when renaming a tab in Gang Storage

• BleedOut

     o The BleedOut Survivalist achievement now works correctly
     o Corrected typos in BleedOut achievements
     o Fixed the scoreboard in the BleedOut game type
     o Fixed the error message when using an inappropriate BleedOut Ticket

• Combat

     o Bullet traces and critical traces adjusted
     o Adjusted mine blast radius when the mine is destroyed (shot)

• Missions and Jobs

     o Fixed mission sorting
     o Fixed "Rightfully Mine" mission description
     o Fixed "Worth Something" mission description
     o Fixed "Earning your bones" mission description
     o Steps 1 and 2 of "A City Under Threat" mission are fixed
     o Added a missing word in “Field Promotion” mission

• BleedOut Campaign

     o Craven will not disappear now
     o Fixed respawn in "The Big BleedOut" mission
     o Fixed mistakes in Episode 4 outro dialogue
     o Fixed instance name in "As The Walls come Tumbling Down" mission

• UI

     o Lobby notifications are no longer displayed in battle instances
     o Fixed corruption of mission reminder text in lobbies
     o Fixed the problem when the Isopach Oil instance was mentioned to be located in Downtown
     o Fixed a problem when a player was sent to take a mission that doesn’t exist
     o Added an icon for players banned in tournaments
     o Fixed “My location” button functionality when viewing lobby map
     o Fixed Smartphone tooltip
     o Fixed player positioning on tournament scoreboard
     o Adjusted tooltips in crafting interface
     o Adjusted UI for widescreen resolutions
