I've tried being a medic for my team and tourneys, and it is very hard as it is now. Boosts and other drugs makes medics underrated. Also, since I can only see the health of myself (and not my group) it is very hard to sucessfully coordinate heals even when on mic.
Medics should get instant access to their teammates health, ala WoW in raid groups or just plain parties, and should have more healing tools at their disposal. The NBR grenade has uses yes. But little tiny blinking +10s don't do jack [filtered].
As or the proposal for ammo support - I like it. The means of dispensing is the only stall. Maybe a dispenser like in TF2? :D

Why not have it so that, if a player on the team has it, when a box, or even a medkit from a collector kill, gets picked up, it gets distributed to all players on the team? That'd make Collector actually have a place where it's useful for once. Though, I was more of a fan of the idea of it being more of a vampire ability, you get 25 HP from getting a kill is what I think it should've been, AND it drops a kit that's visible to your teammates. Anywho, got kinda off topic there, and was more of stream of consciousness then anything, but I'll post it anyway.
EDIT: <3 Commas

Yeah, we should be able to see the health and ammo count of our teammates, and perhaps, even, their positions in the game. It would be so nice to have a set name for certain spots that is known to all players.
For tournies, most people will just call out bottom-right, bottom-left, middle, mid-top, yadda yadda, and some people even have specific names for them. I joined a tourney group once and got onto their vent, they had all kinds of weird names for things I didn't understand and so I was definitely a weak link.
Spud, I like the +health for kill. Really like it. Muahaha. I also like the distribution idea, it would definitely make this into more of a team game.
We really do need the game to swing more into a team-based thang. As it is, it could be the difference of having one or two players of a certain skill level on the same team that can decide the fate of the game, regardless of the rest.
But rather than force team play in all PvP matches however that could be done, maybe a new game mode is in order. As it is, CTZ and TURF (but not so much TURF) are both game modes that require one team to stick together to win. But that's just a matter of having a lump of virtual meat being in the same spot to rack up points.
Why I'm such a fan of team play is because I simply don't operate well on my own. 1v1, sure. But if I'm the most skilled player on my team that means trouble for us.

Well... Talking about medical-type character, I thought, there would be nice to add "Medpack" skill, that could heal ONLY another player for 35-65-90hp with 45-35-25 seconds of recharge. That could be very usefull in combat, would give more healing options and help a lot to another players on tourney and stuff. :}
Ingame nick - "K0T".

Want access to teams health bars and ammo bars with skill, would make a healing build and an ammo supply build great :)

seeing as they dont have mutch protection with the other support skills they should get credit for their support rather than kills or have a way to make it to where everyone gets the Medic or Ammo skill or some kind of support skill and when in a battle they add bonus exp or points each time you give support to another player
just my oppinion ignore it if it is as dumb as me lol

On the note of getting points for it, I've, to be honest, used my NBR fairly selfishly when I rolled with it. It's fairly easy to use it JUST for yourself, and while it would be a nice addition, points should only be 1 point per second of healing, while being higher in shootout(being the main objective to stay alive, and get kills) and higher for being used on teammates with flags/bags/on an objective.

I like your idea Avarice. It would make a great addition to the game. I like the idea of a group effort too. As it stands now, unless your grouped with freinds or gang members, you have no teamwork at all. I might even go one step more as far as healing and ammo distribution to your team.
I played a fps along time ago called Wolfestein: enemy territory. When you started a game you chose your job, infantry, medic, field Op, and such. The medics actualy handed out med kits to soldiers and revive them on the battle field. A field ops's could hand out ammo kits the same way. Maybe there could be a skill where you hit the button and it drops a med pack, then another skill could do the same for ammo. It would be almost the same as throwing a grenade only its a med pack or ammo crate and not as far of a range, maybe 3 ft or less. and usable by others on your team only. Just an extention of your idea, so take it for what its worth. You could also give points for each med pack or ammo crate picked up by a team mate, but I'm sure theres a way to abuse it in there somewhere, theres always someone who figures out a way to exploit anything now days..lol
Stop using a knife as a main weapon like a monkey on crack, then I will stop using my shock / ped combo.

I like it. :)
There definitely should be a score system for successful defense, perhaps something like kills in a certain zone count towards extra points and go in a separate point category.

It has been a growing thought in my head that people rarely seem to use a skill build to play a specific role. With the recent patch, people seem more inclined to using the LMG. I had gotten on with this somewhat by accident, joining a PvP match with my HHT setup that included LMG with some friends for a quick match.
Now, everyone knows that I'm not anything special when it comes to PvP. I'd decided that instead of trying to capture the flag, I'd hang back and guard my teams' flag with my Hargan Shepard.
I was excited when I found that, although I died a great many times, it was still less than before and I actually had a positive KDR for once. PSP rounds were nasty against the opponent, but still left me vulnerable to attackers wielding knives.
After the match, I did a rollback to include Proximity Mines and give Charge Compression another try. Pre-patch, I had used it once and found that there simply wasn't enough time for me to lay down a second mine before someone killed me. Perhaps the changes would allow me to do so without death.
I played a bunch of robberies and snatch and grab matches, and my only goal was to defend our side successfully. That goal was met a great many times. I found, however, that despite an enormous amount of ammo in reserve, I was still running out of it.
So now I come to my suggestion, and the topic of the thread. A new support skill that allows another player to store ammo and give it to another.
This can be done a few different ways. One could be that the supporting player gives you some of theirs, a set number of mags, the ammo comes from the skill itself, or that the supporting player must pick ammo up from dropped opponents and stores it in reserve for the players they are supporting.
The latter would mean that the skill would also have to give an increased number of drops for ammo boxes, similar to what the collector skill does.
Hit me with your ideas!
Also, I'm looking for a Medic. Look me up in-game to let me know what's good. :)
