Devs, give this man a thousand gold bars for this great idea. Miss those times when people actually relied on skills than drugs and gear in this game. I just watched a video made by deathwish ( a real pro, not like the pro wannabes who have been playing this game 24/7 all year and still suck w/o op builds), and it brought a tear to my eyes. Hope something will be done to DIS. If not, expect everyone and their mom to run around with the regenarator set class in a month or so in pub matches.

Holy [filtered]!!! what is this?!! someone else is speaking up now on the DIS noob build?! Awesome man! Yep, either as Sandnix proposed or simply drop that retarded skill all together and let's get back to some skill based games instead of who's got the less lag on the instant heal button....cause there were a time when no-one used the DIS and it was frowned upon as an OP skill... of course that was back in OG days when the game actually were about skill and not noobnesswannabepro's...

DIS actually been discuss long time ago, but they don't make any fix about it despite the same discussion over and over again.
The DIS level requirement should be increase from 28 to 50. By making it at least level 50, we would had prolly cut off at least 60% of DIS user while creating a good purpose for player to train themselves to level 50.
Ever since the class was introduces and crafting was difficult to be done, it gives little to no incentive for player to train themselves to the max level.

Until I showed it to a GM back then, none of the devs were aware about it, and we had people runing around with 200 plus Hp. So many players quit the game because of that bug back then. Now, there seems to be a DIS bug in which you get more GL ammo and an extra HVI round when you use it with DIS. People have been asking the devs to remove this bs ability since 2009, and nothing has been done. ![]()

I don't mind if this ability stay, but the level requirement of this ability was too low and the benefict was way too much which I feel silly about it.
Making it into level 50 ability would pretty much cut off the number of DIS user. After all, we dont have any level 50 ability and this ability benefict seems to be fitting enough to be put under the category of level 50.

LvL 50 requirement wouldnt change anything.
You would make the problem a bit smaller, but it would only make non lvl 50 ask: why can the lvl 50 be so noob and lame with DIS and I can not?
And also on lvl 50 you normally can "exploit" the DIS much better than before.

All earth said, this ability should just be deleted from the game, a lot of players would not be "immortal" anymore over someone they face without the build, basicly as it's been said without it in tournament your team loses... how's that not a [filtered] swing to wake up with an iron bar to remove it is beyond me... and I've done fine with using a normal animation heal after being flame-gunned so don't gimme that argument.

There was a discussion about DIS in the GW's Beta forum. One of the game Dev's commented on it and said they were looking at possibilities to alter the use of it.
I still think DIS is a requierment for many builds; alot of boosts are now 8 second duration, without DIS they become unusable. Therefore, I don't agree that DIS should be removed, it is needed. However, DIS does need a rework, personally I think the main focus should be on Medkits. Imo, the reason DIS makes an OP build is the ability to boost a single medkit during a fire fight. So it stands to reason the rework should stop the ability to medkit at that particular time. So, stop the ability to medkit while being shot? (Fire does not count as being shot).
Akas - Back in the day when I first told you about the DIS and ER combo you were all over it, luvin' every minute. Ironic that now you probably get roflstomped by those who use it better, it is now the worse thing!
DrSep - Making it Lvl 50 skill is probably the worse fix to it, well, it doesn't fix the problem what-so-ever! A lot of those who understand it is a problem are level 50, so... Allowing DIS to be used and abused by high levels with the best boosts, clothes, weapons just makes it even more unbalanced and unfair to all those that can't use it and are already using lesser equipment etc.

It is a temporary solution, at least for now. To find the best of the best solution for this issues took times and was hard to be determine.

Since Hargan Bulldog nerf and Gang Wars Release I barely see any custom profile user without DIS anymore.
The only ones without DIS are Firebuilder, noobs or Class Players (and even amongst the classes the Regenerator starts to spread).
In Tour games it is nearly 100% DIS and the high skilled teams all use it without exception and often on every player.
So why is this? Before Gang Wars there were many DIS too, but not so much as there is now (IMO). The main reason for the spreading DIS is the Nerf of Hargan Bulldog (IMO) because now u cannot one shot ppl so easy and only with HVI rounds.
Another fact is the nerf of the defensive boosts and clothes. Everybody dies faster now and for that reason the SMG got a revival (before Gang Wars it was not so strong as it is now).
An easy way to counter SMG is DIS + Medkit because u can survive a full mag of an SMG without a problem and kill the enemy when he is reloading.
In fact, you could also just make DIS standard for every player (without using an ability slot) and nothing would change really except that everybody would use three different abilities now instead of two.
To change the gameplay on DIS I would suggest the following, hard nerf/rework:
Direct Injecton System
Change to one level skill (100k) and make it work for both skill slots on that level.
But: make it only working for 5-10 second duration boosts.
All other stuff, including instant medkits and so on are not consumeable with DIS anymore.
What will DIS become then?
This would really make it a specialized ability and not so wide spread and common like atm.
Tanks can still use their Bess/JellyJoy or stuff combination. And since many use Juato in advance to the operation, it wont affect Bess Tanks in a negative way.
So DIS would support an optimal use for short duration boosts (because u dont lose time with the animation, especially when u have two short duration boosts equiped).
I must admit that the Regenerator Concept and the supporting Preset Class would neet a rework then too.
You would have to exchange the Medkit in Slot 1 with the Medboost the Assassin is using in his first slot for example. With the +60% healing effect mod this would still mean +30 hp (or more) instantly (if you would make the Skill finally calculating and working properly).
