yeah this is so retarded , you can buy custom clothing but not change face paint its like WTF?!

Well, I heard arguments like: the classes have to be recognized ingame. But to be honest, if changing the custom clothing is not making recognition nearly impossible... I dont know.
Also I do not know, why you cannot colorize the Attachments of the Classes Weapons.
That and the Make Up change would really make the ppl spend more Goldbars on visual customization of the classes. I cannot see why this should be bad at all? :)
