The hacks are a little obvious when a team of four disregards an entire map of players and B-lines right for one player every time.

The stat padding, chareacter boosting exploiting and cheating are way out of hand and THAT is the reason you cant keep a population on your servers.

Time to open your eyes, do your jobs, and get Crime Craft back to the way it used to be.  FUN and POLICED.

It blows my mind that all this is going on and yet you sit there and wonder why your population and profit margin are slipping.

Think it might be time to look at HARDWARE BANS.  Deal with them permanently.  Removing them for the time it takes to roll up and boost a new character just does not work.

And.... some of the topics that have been carrying on on this forum would not have made it 24 hours back in the day without getting locked, deleted, and players warned for the way some players are carrying on.  I mean come on, I have been deleted, locked and warned for less.

I think people are leaving

A) They are simply bored of this game and there are better games out there

B) Lag compensation that makes people see wierd sh!t

C) The fact that the game is poorly optimized. Even in bf3, my rig is more than capable of gettinG constant 80fps. In cc, there's 62 fps cap and it's still not constant. My fps some times dips to low 30s when I'm in a gun battle. And don't get me started on memory leaks. No serious pc gamer would put up with crap like this.

D) Lack of variety in weapon/combo use. I mean play a tourney, and you are gauranteed to see everyone using the rask lmg, sigma smg and wolf and maus ar. Using any other weapon puts you at a disadvantage. Same with boosts, it's either bess + frenzy/strand/jellyjoy/juato OR amplifex/frenzy + medkits.

Give considerable buffs to other boosts and weapons and take out lag compensation if they want to retain people. I honestly don't think anyone is leaving because of stat padding exploits. Most of us could care less about cheating and stat padding. To be honest, I have only seen one blatant cheater in cc. It was felony back in 09. You may remember him using macros with his smg out in the open. If anyone is cheating right now, they suck at cheating tbh.

There are a few cheating, but that wont change, it can't?

As for stat padding, character boosting, exploiting, well, I don't see it! Even if it did somehow occur, it doesn't effect me, nor should it effect you or anyone else. Let the nerds do as they please for in-game numbers that have no real use to them!

CrimeCraft is now more popular, balanced then it ever was (ignore the Steam promotion fluke).

The above problems you've mentioned are not the reason this game has a small population.

Sorry but day to day non tourney play is just no fun when you are running into the same people with new accounts rocketing through their leveling because they can see everyones location on the map and are able to exploit in many different ways that I am not allowed to mention because it will allow new people to exploit in the same ways.

It isnt just the combos and such.  I still have fun playing but only on the rare occasion when I am not in a map that is being ruined by exploiting and obvious cheating because they just cant keep up with the hack injectors being sold and used on a regular basis.  I think that they should be going after not only the people that use them but the people that are creating and selling them.  I mean in the end it is a program that circumvents the designers intended functionality of the packaged program and in essence is against everything the ELUA and Terms of Service hasd in place to prevent users from cheating.  It is time someone got balls and took legal action against the people creating and selling programs intended to circumvent developers designs.

If it was that easy, then bigger publishers such as EA, Activision would have gone after cheat sites a long time ago. Plus, even if they did get those sites banned, another one would come up in no time. It's qute easy to make your won hacks for cc since it uses UE3 anyways. All you need is some understanding of how unreal engine works and an unreal engine editor. You can learn all you need about UE3 by reading the wiki tutorials. I've known people who can change stats of weapon mods by editing the cfg files. Some sort of cheating is always going to be here no matter what. They've done more than any bigger company would have done to stop cheating. I mean, how many games out there have a function to spectate people ? Only a handful.

And yes Phukk, I agree, Crime Craft is popular but popularity dont mean s**t if you cant keep a population because people are sick and tired of playing against exploits and cheats.

I mean s**t if i wanted to and i didnt care about losing my account I could just take and exploit the exact same way i am seeing others and yeah my stats would be great, but what f**king fun would I be having, none.  I would not be playing Crime Craft, I would be playing Let's Exploit To Troll Craft.

I mean the real exploiters and cheaters that are dealt with on a regular basis rarely run in tourneys because they CANT.  They are afraid that they will get caught running cheats. But when the tourneys are going on you can see loads of em running in reg matches, because thats the only place they can get away with it in such large numbers.  Yes, there are some exploiters in the tourneys, but for some reason nobody seems to want to admit that exploiters are ruining the tourneys.  I dont know, maybe its because they are the popular crowd, or maybe its because they are big spenders, but whatever the case, they are there and for some reason, they will not run on the server where they get 3 green for tourneys...... Hmmmm, maybe they cant because without the lag compensation to exploit they are just as noob as a noob?

Either way, its time something is done.  I have brought alot of friends to Crime Craft, and NONE of them play anymore.  And it is NOT because Crime Craft is boring.  It ISNT.  Its FUN, but facing the same lagging, exploiting, cheating f**ks on a daily basis, IS NOT FUN.

It may be tough to stop people creating cheats Phukk, but really it all comes down to POLICING THE GAME.

Face it, if there is no authoritative presence on a regular basis actively removing explouiters and cheaters, who is going to stick around?

Oh yeah, the guys who are good at exploiting and whos cheats are undetectable.

No exploit or cheat is undetectable.

Like I said, it's all about the POLICING.

Remember back in the day when there was an actual Regulator PRESENCE?

Yeah, how long did a cheater last back then?

And as for dealing with the guys that make the cheats?  Legal Action, sue the s**t out of them for manipulating the game software or at least take the apropriate legal action that any software hack would go through and make it hurt their wallet or put them behind bars for cyber crimes.  Take their ability to make the s**t away.  They are damaging legitimate software companies income with invasive software.

Yeah, because the game was pay to play back then. They could afford a lot of competant mods who actaully knew what to look for. I remember guys like specialk, landodger and etc following me around back in '09 to check wether I was cheating.
