Crime Craft seems to be trying to turn itself into "Just Another Shooter", and this would be a shame. There's probably a lot of us that started, and have kept, playing because of the Crafting/RPG side of the game, and it seems that this side of the game is getting ignored to the benefit of turning it into JAS to supposedly attract more people, but it seems that this isn't going to work as if it's advertised through Steam ect as an MMORPG, the last thing new players would expect is a bland UI that doesn't allow them to do anything except stare at their character, that they can not really even customise, except for choosing another character. That's not an RPG. Personally I'd go back to the Moat, but rebuild it to be more interesting and more in-depth about the game features.

The progression through the game, IMO, is to quick. You come into the game at level 1 and before you get out of the Moat your level 10. Before you can blink just about, your level 20 then level 30. The only "Grind" really comes at level 45? where it then takes awhile to finally get from there to level 50. This makes 90% of the craftable items worthless as who's going to use them? Plus when you look at weapons, you have access to ALL weapons at level 1. While a 5 slot AR might be out of a new players reach due to the cost, most 4 slot's are quite easy to obtain. Who is going to go through the AH looking for a weapon and buy a 1 slot AR when for a couple of thousand more they can have a 4 slot? So crafting 1-3 slot weapons is pretty much pointless, and even 4 slot weapons are not that attractive. So the only weapons that are of any use are 5 slot. This is because there is no level lockout on weapons. The weapons need to be locked to different levels, as are the clothes, boosts and attachments.

Most of the low level items are pretty much worthless, mainly because by the time you buy them and use them a bit, you've gone up enough levels to get the next level items. Why buy that level 15 shirt when you can see that you only need maybe 1000 points to get to the next level, and figure that you may as well stay in what you've got till level 20, then level 25, then level 30 because it takes no time at all to get there. Now there's even an STG that allows you to gain more XP/Cash to make the journey even quicker. Wish we had them before, could've save a lot of GB's on XP drinks. The idea seems to be to get everyone to level 50 as quick as possible so that everyone is using the same level gear and therefore add balance to the game.

The time it takes to level a character should be increased by quite a bit and the PvP matches separated by level to keep high level players out of low level games. Add this to making Weapons, Clothes, Boosts and Attachments more level orientated and you start to get back to some kind of RPG that the game used to be.

Well, a can agree with you, but I can also tell you: there is no hope.

What is needed is a whole new game build up from zero. No developer will ever touch that things you mention here.

It will not happen that lower levels will be more important in the game.

Crafting and RPG (which is an "illusion" anyway, since real RPG is in no single MMORPG at all) will never become that important, because this is, by any means, a shooter with an interesting lobby.

Customizing clothes in the BM is far more interesting than crafting high level items which look like [filtered] and which are 1% better than the stuff u can get for 1/10 the price at the AH.

The whole mechanics of the game are just broken.

After Gang Wars came out I started selling all the [filtered] mats and other stuff I stored just to get money. Now I have 5 classes, three of them maxed, the other at a level below maximum. And the 6th class is already planned.

I can spend my time playing now and do not have to attend the [filtered] boring and braindead PvE at all, nor spend thousands of bucks for crafting skills which bring nothing but a waste of precious time.

I dont even care anymore where I place in tournament because the only thing I need the [filtered] coins for is making more money.

Custom Profiles are still better, that is true, but the amount of extra time and nerves you need to maintain them is just not worth it. That is also because it is just pointless to use high end stuff u paid so much money for vs. teams which cheat or play that good with such a good combo of stuff, that you cannot win at all.

Now, I play this game because of the public games. The Roleplay aspect for me is, that I can buy custom clothing and set up an individual style and colour scheme. I just hope that there will be more custom clothing soon, so that you can really go for sth. individual...
