Firstly, let me say that I really enjoy Crime Craft, there's just something about the gameplay that keeps me coming back, although after the last update, I'm a bit sceptical.

Weapons and Balance - In any shooter based game this has got to be the biggest point of contention, what seems balanced to one player is completly out of balance to another, and the use of boosts/skills in CC just make the whole thing harder to grasp.  The one thing that I find hard to grasp is how it can be called balanced when a shotgun can do 100-120 HP's of damage in one shot.  I'm not going to go into the whole SG debate again, but for mine I'd rather see the SG's just removed from the game completly because there is no way to balance out the damage they cause per shot compared to every other gun in the game.  Yes a SG should be lethal at close range, but what is the difference between a SG shel and say 4 AR rounds at close range?  You should be dead either way, yet the SG user just runs riot at close range.  1 shot from an SG should do, at maximum, the same damage as 1 shot from other guns. 

The crafting side of the game seems to be struggling to get an overhaul.  The push seems to be more toward making it into a plain old shooter.  I don't know what to say about it, but it seems to be getting really stale and doesn't seem to have the importance it used to.  The BM has taken over.  The cash shop idea in games, IMO, is one of the biggest things that is killing online games for a lot of people.  Not everyone can affors to be spending $$ all the time to have the items that we would like to have out of the BM.  It makes sense that the Developers have to make $$ out of the game, but isn't there another way to do so?  Any item in the BM that impacts on the game, in general, has to be better than what is available through playing the game, if the BM items aren't the best items in the game, why buy them?  But when this idea of a BM turns the game into Pay2Win, the fun and enjoyment goes out of the game.  The BM SHOULD NOT sell weapons or any othe game changing items, but sell more cosmetic things and be more about customisation, rather than allowing people to buy the best items in the game.  Personally I liked APB when RTW first released it, it was a more expensive subscription, but there was no cash shop and everything was available through playing the game.  If weapons and the like weren't available through the BM, Gangs and Crafting would come back to being more important, as the name of the game suggests.  I'd rather have a "cosmetic only" BM and a higher sub price than the way it is now.

When are we going to get Large Gang Hideouts?  More ways to customise our hidouts?  How about a way to contact all Gang Members in game?  Some things to enhance the gameplay instead of an update that pushes the game toward an every day shooter?

Yup, this is the evil part for every online game out there. If it is too good, ppl assume it is pay to win and it isn't good or just so-so, they ask "Why paid for it?"

 

Despite a lot of big dissappointment over this update, I have to say they did 1 thing right. By making everything possible to be earn by free user, but through hard way. 70%-80% of the item u can purchase from BM can now be purchase with silver coin. Which it is a good sign even though some item was undervalue while some are too high.
