I do not know if the dev's are aware, but the grenade launchers now have more radius than edf. The sole skill that counters explosives is EDF, but now the radius of edf does not work vs grenade launchers, which is more than a little annoying. Please devs, either lower the radius of gl'ers or increase the radius of edf, right now it's rediculous.

That is true and it is really annoying. GLs are already common in every game so much and spread like a virus.

My suggestions was:

Decrease all explosives damage (including C4, Grenades, RL, GL, Molotov and Mines) and change the effect from explosion dampending field to:

Dampening field

add light and splash resistance and totally protects against: stun (also from Electric shield) and fire.

Corrosion grenades could still be effective in my oppinion, also Smoke and flash.

You could increase the radius of dampening field after it.

So it would be a field which is A. more realistic (because it also effects bullets) and B. would have a counter such as corrosion grenades and flash bombs which both would be picked even more then. 

Also the fact that it just makes every explosive and stuff just 100% ineffective it would make it less annoying for both sides (when explosion effects still take place due to the explosion radius).

i dont know about that, the effective radius of edf is what makes it tactical, only 1,maybe 2 on your team need it to protect something of importance. Don't fix something that isnt broken. The only thing broken about it is it's inneffectiveness against gl spam, and edf is suppose to do that, just not anymore since they made the edf field smaller without changing the radius of the g's.

Well, Explosives are broken, especially C4 and GL.

And since the EDF is integral part of the Explosive mechanism it is also broken.

Apart from that it is quite unrealistic that it "damps "explosions" but no bullets, because both follow the same basic principles.

 EDF works fine as it is, the radius is enough to prevent all explosive weapons. If you stand to near the edge of EDF and get tagged, then its your fault. You've placed the EDF wrong &/or use it incorrectly.

naw, i know how to use it, you can stand in the center of edf, and someone can spam grenades on a wall behind you, or on the edge of the edf barrier, and you still take heavy explosive damage.

option 1: indrease the radius of Dampening Field

Option 2: lower the dmagae radius of GL's

Option 3: Change the skill in the point that as long as you standing in de Radius of the Dampeining Field you take no damage from exlposivs in the Field and get a risitanc bonous against explosivs spawned at the outside so the GL user that spawns you can be taken out fast and makes no heavy damage.

Mabye you can walk arround a game then again wihtout the feeling of heavy Artelleryfire is on the map. Last days i had enough situations i had to dash throu the fire of 2 grenade spawners and then the Dampening field as it is is nearly useless.

Also, as the GLs are highly mobile and can provide a constant stream of grenades without any problem, a stationary dampening field, even with CD of 10 seconds is worth nearly nothing. (especially vs. experienced players who exploit the weaknesses of the damp).

Especially when u want to use it in non ACD/Turf War situations were the fighting is spread over a even larger region of the map.

On the other side the dampening field also locks u prisoned in ur current position.

Well, the moment I started playing I liked two things: the looks of Crimecraft and the feeling of a good 3rd person shooter. But I also hated two things: explosives and knife because both just messed up the game.

Btw: most ppl start leaving when there is a knifejump/bess(super-god-pro-player) or a grenade/GL spam.

This is not what ppl enjoy.

EDIT: I just tried the bess/knife experience my self (oh yeah, you need so much skill for that o_O) and nearly instantly I got flamed, accused cheats and some LowLevels quit. LoL :)

i mean i have no problem if someone magages to get near me an knive me (without Bees) then i havent watched out. But with Bess ist just like a godmode... anyway back to the dampening field.

what i ask myself whre they got all those ammo from i mean i was out with a GL once i had about 4 grenades then i was out of ammo... but on a ACD with one Grenade spamer it dosent stop with 4 grenades.

i dont know if you ever was in a game against a insane team with 3 grenade spamer but the dampening filed is worthless at all if you are luck you can place it in time but then you die and will never reach this "safe zone" again.

I wud suggest why not making the dempening field like every other grenade you can cary 2 of them and increase the radus of the protection. So it wud be a real counter against explosives

How about we explore this option? EDF is no longer a "grenade" and instead just centers itself on the user at the cost of some movement speed.
