Agree, the game is now called Gang Wars, yet it's hidden away and seems to be getting made a small part of the game. Chances are that only a couple of gangs will own all the areas anyway, but it's still be fun to be a part of it. I've seen a couple of notices come up that registration starts in x amount of time, but no notice of what the registration is for, and it seems to go nowhere anyway. Maybe things aren't quite sorted yet due to this being a "Sneak Peek" so hopefully things will be sorted on release.
As for the new UI at the start of the game, welcome to Crime Craft - The Shooter! The Craft/RPG side of the game is slowly disappearing in favour of turning the game into a plain old shooter. Personally I don't like the way things work now at all. I had a stack of 30%? (35% can't remember :P) damage boosts which I equipped for a couple of rounds, then they have just disappeared, they're not in the equip list and not in my backpack. The old way was more intuitive IMO and shouldn't have been changed. But that's games these days, there's little notice taken of ongoing problems/issues in the game because there is so much focus on the Cash Shop, which is what your generally taken to now if your trying to change boosts and things, as that's where everything decent is.
personally I wish that there was a server for the old bleedout style of the game so that we could ignore the new update and play it the old way.

Hawki is absolutely right. GangWars is what it is supposed to be about and it's hardly being promoted to the current base population. We're helping work out the details of the game for you guys so I hope you heed the message. The info tab for each territory needs more information. The way everything works in general needs more information. The intro needs to come back immediately. I started a new character and was bored in a minute and I'm already playing the game. The coins really shouldn't be items anymore. They're really a form of currency like the cash and goldbars. A couple of repeated request were ignored with this expansion and that's been mentioned as well: Group stockpile. Not open stockpile, but group stockpile. Also, why isn't there a way to mail your gang? You should be able to mail your entire gang for a reasonable flat rate, just by putting the gang name in the (to) section. Very difficult to organize a gang when you can't even communicate with them. The gangs that are making it have third party voice chat to communicate.
In general, the main issue with the entire CrimeCraft package can be summed up with: Communication.
More communication would bring a heap load of players into the game. Give some of your players more control to answer questions and monitor the flaming in the chat window. People who care and will give feedback that improves the game. That way at least someone is communicating. Euricho has one GM that supports us. One. Not a network of people, one person. TheDeafMute can not be on the server 24/7. Give him some back-up.
What do you guys think?

Thanks for the input so far guys, i think your on the right track there Yourdaddy
I just noticed something very intresting, on the main page is a poll that asks us the player base how we like to get help 44% voted in-game tutorials.. yet you have ignored that completly with this new character system... kinda defeats the point of asking, also a great example of just how little you give a crap about your own player base :)

Pretty much what I've said all along, We need more active Gms. Deaf Mute can't do all the work and you need to promote this game more. Give flyer kits to players around the states. I'm pretty sure you'll find people dedicated to this game to do crazy stuff like that. Trust me. Everyone is down for creative solutions.
Hell. I remember when I played SMT Online. There was a contest to hold a poster about the game around areas in Real life and they would give you an item for doing that.
All we need is for you Devs/Gms/whathaveyou to talk to us and we will help you in the best way we can.

I am still a relatively new player and was lucky enough to be introduced to CC before the new expansion. There are many things that I enjoy about the new version; classes, ease of finding a PVE or PVP instance, etc, but I have to agree with Hawk about the new character creation area.
I created this character so that I could go and experience the new character orientation area. I enjoyed taking three other characters through the previous area, gaining weapons, learning how to craft and playing the maps/missions and gaining interesting loot. This time I was placed into a single window and pretty much forced to progress through two methods (PVE or PVP matches) until my character gained enough experience to reach level 8. I then had the option to finally step into the orientation area and do the few quests before being released into Sunrise. I personally found the whole “get to level 8” experience a grind, very uninteresting and felt very sad for the actual "new to CC" players who were knife bait for those older players creating new toons. If this had been my first experience to CC I think I would have uninstalled pretty much immediately.
Now don’t get me wrong, as a new player to CC I found the learning curve pretty steep but the old orientation area allowed you to get a grasp of the crafting system, familiarizes yourself with a few maps and be rewarded with items that could be used later on for crafting. You also got to see other players and interact with them, something that was completely absent from my last experience. And PVP was optional.
I think a happy medium needs to be found for the orientation area. Maybe even a choice for new players between the new and old system. There are those that came to CC because of the MMO aspect, the ability to define their characters by what they wear, or craft or the skills that they learned leading towards a certain playing style. Others are more interested in PVP, buying their gear and do not care so much for the wonderfully complex MMO aspects that you have placed into this game. For this game to attract new players both of these groups of players need to be considered and helped with their orientation into CC because right now it feels that you are playing strongly to the “first person shooter” crowd.

Forcing people into a non-lobby forced match window is not only annoying to old players, but sends the wrong message to new members. All we need is a dialog that asks if someone would like the tutorial, and give people a choice to leave it at any time. Many new players, even if they don't know how to play, like to explore the gameplay, but as it is, you have to reach lv8 before you even get to play... and by play, i mean experience the lobby crafting ect that makes this game a mmo...

Agreed with the tutorial nonsense. It went from a tad bit overwhelming to completely uninteresting.

I've been told by the only helpful GM (thedeafmute) this is where I should come to play my constructive criticism (seeing as opening a ticket never seems to work)
In the words of Zapp Brannigan "What the hell"
Turf wars is fun, but sadly its like its hidden in the game, why doesn’t it have its own window with rules and info like the tournaments it should it’s the Major feature of this expansion, also there’s not enough info on the actually info tab you made for each area, we need to know how many people are required min for each zone, we found out the hard way. I mean why does it even let you subscribe to a zone if your team is to small that’s just silly
You have broken the whole games mold of 4 player teams doing this the least you could do is point it out give us the info we need beforehand.
So yeah that needs a lot of work the other main problem i have with this expansion is your new character setup, you are forced to play the first 8 levels looking at a stupid window that just shows your character and a giant fight button or a little orange PvE button, gone is the brilliant intro zone you had which helped explain how the game works what you need to do in order to equip and build your own setup up and explains the crafting and give you your first craft...
Why WHY would you force new players to be completely alienated from the player base for the start of the game its an MMO, INTERACTION is what makes it different from a normal FPS style shooter, I can honestly say right now if i had started this game in this expansion i would of spent 2 -3 match's playing gotten sick of it and left. That whole quest hub was what got me into this game, I mean you only really need to do it once, but you were good enough to have the skip it option, a first in any MMO I’ve found.
[EDIT] Forgot to mention the new silver and gold coins and the old bronze ones, why are these still items in our backpacks, there on the credits bar now one or the other please [EDIT]
This has become a bit long, I have many other issues but I’ll stay on the topic of this expansion, apart from those main ones I’ve mentioned, this expansion has been nice the new class system is great, I’m loving the match making system as well
So yeah anyone else feel free to put in there two cents.
