Weapon Mechanics: Ammo is available in the form of <Energy Packs> and is drained like one shot each 0,1 secounds. the gun should require a tech for balance issues, it deserves it afterall. The weapons special attack would be a <Photon Torpedo> or something similar, makeing its damage delivery an area of effect. Its an automatic gun that has no recoil whatsoever, just puts out a laserbeam that cant pierce walls, but gets deflected of them. Degree of deflection would be the analogy to pierce, however glass can be pierced ;D.
The Damage one takes of this gun should work similar like damage of a Molotov. You can only take it every 0.5 secounds no matter how much your shot at (multiple beams, multiple damage ofcourse) and the damage taken per click can only be lowered with Absorb. It should range from maybe 20 to 40, this needs high tweaking. The Photon Torpedo should maybe work like the molotov, lower damage, but longer burning. Its speed like a Rocket, so it can be evaded on long distance.
- Stock: Modifies Runspeed (should generally be slow, not SMG-like, make the gun huge like lmg)
- Trigger: Damage and reload (the usual)
- Module: Damage and degree of deflection
- Lense: Better lense better range (analogy to barrel)
- Sight: Maybe add a Zoom like for Snipers, but less range on the gun overall. Or make it like GL/RL sight lol :P
Energy Capacities should range from 45(stock) to 70(blue lvl 50) and reloading 3(50 blue) to 4(stock) secounds.
Thats all I can imagine for now, in some interview you state there would be new weapons too, this could be one of it no? :P
