Ok, it might be I am only stupid, but since it happend two times now and I know from others that have the same problem:

When promoting gang members I accidently passed my leadership of the gang to them (2 times now...) and I am just raging because there is NO support from Vogster on this matter (they say they have to wait 30 days!!!).

So I suggest to implement a confimation question if you want to promote someone to gang leader and pass the leadership. Like: "Are you sure you want to pass leadership to "nickname"" Yes - No?

When you promoted someone to be leader, there would be indeed a message pop up asking if you wanted to pass leadership to the person you promoted.

I think the problem is an option I just found: "Swap Rank" 

Its right below promotion and maybe I missclicked on that when I passed my leadership.

STILL: this should require a confirmation -.-

It does require a confirmation however I do agree with you that they should rename it to "MAKE GANG LEADER" or something clear like that..

Happened to me once too. But luckily, I had passed the leadreship to one of the clan admins. So, I had no issue getting it back. Just put a ticket in and they'll fix it though.

@option, no it didn't ask for a confirmation in my case, and probably in ops case. I was simply trying to promote chief to admin rank one day, and leadership got transfered to him instead. It was no accident, cos I know I selected promote member, not swap ranks. Probably another bug.
