So much bullsh!t.
They already nerfed range on 2 of the SG and lowered dmg very much on 1. They do not oneshot at all, maybe if using Raze50 (+50% dmg).
40 dmg per shot seriosly...SERIOSLY...that would mean shoot 2 full mags to kill someone with 30% resist.
I know a better idea. Cap AR range at 20 and see how fun it is. atm they have sniper range.

Shotguns are in line now.
I even have the feeling that the Valley Forge is a bit too weak compared to the other Shotties.
Especially when using classes like Shadow Spy I realize that it is not more than a secondary weapon now.
And yes, I agree. AR > Sniper. But Snipers are situational, which is really ok.
Before nerfing any other gun (even the RASK LMG) I would nerf Bess and Frenzy and the DIS :)

The very first thing i noticed after gange wars is how strong bess is now since armor took a nerf. Although it is no stronger than before, armor across the board was stronger, so it didnt feel so much more powerful. I do want to point out that corrosive shot has always been the anti-bess, that hasnt changed, only how effective it is is much higher now that armor is lower across the board :)

Yeah, 2 full mags, pretty much the same as trying to kill someone with an AR that has the same kinda resist. Your so fkn full of [filtered] Gladjolt. Yeah by all means cap AR range at that, then cap the SG range to 2 fkn metres, that's fair. An AR has that kind of range, an SG isn't that powerfull.
Personally IDGAF what replies are made, the SG's are to powerfull, they ruin the game and they're the only weapon in the game that does. If they were bought into line with the rest of the guns in the game then people would play, as it is I'm another that is going to leave due to them. Every other weapon in the game feels balanced, except for the SG. Personally I'm sick to death of the useless noob SG users that run round like fkn rabbits pumping medkits and the like and then come into here and say they're balanced.
Said it before, I'll say it again, if the SG can 1/2 shot, my AR, SMG, LMG, Pistol should be able to do the same, how'd you like that? Why does an AR user have to pump half to 3/4 of a mag into someone to kill them when a useless SG user can just use 1/2 shots? It's unbalanced and it's BS.

Just because you can't aim with ur AR doesn't mean all the other guns need nerf. Doing triplekill with sg2 AR on a single mag is piece of cake.

The only way a shotgun is gonna 1 shot is very close, good aim, and against a lightly armored person, 2 shotting takes very good aim against well armored people(remember, all pellets need to land which means you have to fire DEAD center to hope for high damage, unlike an ar that can hit the arm/shoulder/core/etc). Look at all the posts of people complaining that shotguns are too weak... They require alot more accuracy now. Those who are consistantly 1 and 2 shotting people have very good aim, and would rip you to shreads with an AR too... AR's are not gonna be better than a shotgun at close range, and NEVER should, shotguns are designed for short range. AR's are meant for medium range, although they are performing exceptionally at long range, which should be sniper territory.

I never said, anywhere, that AR's should be better than SG's at close range. But this is a feedback thread, and I'm giving my feedback. There's no reason, unless your going for a "Realistic" Shooter that an SG should be able to 1 shot at any range, unless every gun in the game can. If your going for realism, a 7.62mm AR round will kill you just as dead as a SG round from ANY range. Why can an SG do so much damage per pellet? It's just not right. Thing is, the game's not realistic and isn't meant to be, and that makes balance in the weapons important.
OK, so if the SG's are balanced with the damage they do per pellet, I'd like an Alloy round for my AR/SMG. That way I've got a round that will shatter on impact, do 19+ damage per shard and 1 shot from the AR's best range. Does that sound balanced?
As for my aim, I do quite OK thank you very much. I'm constanly in the top 3 of a round, get quite enough kills to make me happy. I didn't bother posting in the "Rask LMG is OP" thread because I personally think it's fine. Same as the Nade/Rocket launchers. My opinion isn't based on my K/D ratio, like some other posters, as I really DGAF as to what my K/D ratio is, I couldn't even tell you what it is, my opinion is based on trying to make a good game better, and a nearly balanced game more balanced and therefore more fun and hopefully thereby attracting more players to the game instead of chasing them away with an OP gun. Not keeping things they way they are so I can keep my K/D ratio up and make myself feel good. Personally I couldn't care if I couldn't aim and was on the bottom of the ladder in every game, as long as I felt that I wasn't being OP'd by an OP weapon and as long as it was fun. There's no fun in trying to cap a flag/bank/ACD point only to be destroyed by a shotgun every time.
The game needs to be either realistic, new hitboxes, 1 shot kills ect or it needs to be balanced out as a fun shooter. At the moment it's neither.

Constantly top 3? Which server would that be and please dont say Rask or Euricho cos than i just think of players who stand in one spot spraying his AR or LMG making very easy targets for shotguns.

IMO the shotguns are still way OP and it's about time the damage per pellet on them was changed to be inline with other guns. This 1 shot kill crap with the SG is 1 of the things that ruins this game and keeps people from playing it. Why should an SG 1 shot you from ANY range? The damage per pellet should be capped at 5, giving 40 damage per shot, isn't that enough and more inline with the gameplay and other weapons?
I really enjoy this game and play it almost exclusivly ATM, but I'm done with this SG crap. When I read an Update post that states the SG's have been bought into line, I'll start playing again, until then I'm done. I've had enough of seeing 1 Shotgunner running round killing everything they come across with 1 shot while the rest of us are just SG fodder. Change it and you'll see some of the population start to rejoin the game.
