1. A classic search and destroy game mode, two teams, 1 life per roud, 8 rounds, and a 9th round tie breaker if needed. Objective are as followed. Team 1 = attackers, Team 2 = Defenders. The attackers goal are to destroy the target (Stash of money? The Kingpins apartment through a garage? The options are nearly limitless, I'm sure you guys can come up with more "lore" friendly objectives, Maybe even a synthetic fossil fuel plant that a Kingpin is running) Now with the attackers role out of the way, It's time for Team 2, The defenders goal is a obvious one, Prevent the attackers from destroying the target by any means nessicary, Mines, Torrents, you name it, they'll all come in to play and should be strategically placed throughout the map. In return for the great defensive positions they're given, Team 1 should have multiple vantage points on the target, Multiple entry points especially, Preventing all the defenders from being cluster[filtered] together making it nearly impossible to penetrate the target, But yet still making Team 1 have to pass certant spots that could be heavily guarded by torrents or mines. I'm no map designer, so that will be up to you guys.
Suggestion 2. A new PvE game mode. I'm a big fan of stealthy games, I loved the bleedout mission where you had a suppressed pistol, It was a great ammount of fun. I'd like to see a PvE game mode sorta as that mission. A 4 player team per room, The team should be well balanced and more then anything, Know one anothers load out, And each be given a role by the group leader. Each map designed for this mode should have multiple entry points and vantage points for each room or location that the enemy target is located in. The idea I have in my head is for 3 - 4 way's into a room, Multiple doors, And possibly even a open roof, Or a ledge, To give the player a vantage point from above. Imagine a square room, Simple, very simple. The team splits into 3 teams(Not litterally, Just from a tatical viewpoint) Player 1 stays at the main door, To draw attention of all the enimies in the room when the the other players are in position. Player 2 and 3 go to the back or side door, And player 4 goes to the vantage point on the roof, Or on the ledge, wherever. Once everyone is in position they let player 1 know, Then he starts firing at enimies, More likely then anything with a un surpressed LMG(More on surpressed weapons next) Once hearing the gunshouts players 2 and 3 start firing at the enimies in their back, Also while player 4 does a similar thing. The ammount of enimies in a given section of the room or area that need be cleared should be something between 7 and 15, depending on the size of a room(Mainly leaving that one up to you guys and the testers) Each room has a boss, And enimies of different difficulity, The easier targets should be picked off first.
Number 3. Okay, For SMG's you have silencers as a barrel attachment, But they do not surpress the sound of the gun. This should be changed, And these barrels should be added for AR's SMG's and SR's, Reducing the range of the gun, But slightly increassing accuracy and surpressing the rounds, Thus making you not show up on the radar in PvP when you fire a round. And in PvE, Making the ammount of threat you generate much lower, Meaning if someone is shooting at enimies with a LMG, They're going to be much more focused on him. I do not know how your AI works in this game, But if a threat system isn't currently in play, It should be added indefinitely.
4. Another game mode I have came up with is basicly the same as in Kayne and Lynch. Two teams, Robbers and the cops, Robbers get a 30second headstart to start stealing the cash, 2 players in the game are randomly selected to be cops, They spawn 30seconds after the game has started, Their goal, Kill the robbers, Once a robber dies he spawns 15seconds later as a cop. To make things interasting, The robbers can give in to greed, Killing one another, But not smart to do such until all the cash is taken and you have nearly escaped, otherwise the cops will out number you and you will lose. I don't see why this would be copyrighted, Since every game has a deathmatch mode, This would be a incredibly fun game mode that I would love to see implimented, Loved it in Kayne and Lynch. Main goal = steal the money and escape, As a team, Or as one. There will be random targets along the path to the room that is in need of clearing out, Such enimies will have cellphones just like in the bleedout mission, If sighted, You must take them down quickly, before the entire match is put on high alert. Meaning, Enimies not just in a room, but also watching all vantage points, and much more heavily guarded enimies watching entrances into the bosses room/And or location.
Let me know what you all think (:
