Yes it's really a pathetic gang doin' this.
Beside that, our leader put innocently the spy on a map, and after telling all information to other gang the spy left 5 seconds before battle so we end up playin with one less player.
What a cowardly and unfair tactic. Really pathetic gang.

This was a big problem for us too. We did kick 3 spies from our gang. Most of our guys are on TeamSpeak and know each other well, so it wouldn't be much of problem in the future, but for new gangs, it will be a challenge.
Please consider adding a website feature that shows all alt chars. It shouldn't be that complicated. You already have the database.

Not everyone does it though. Only low life scums like wiggy do these kind of petty things. He sent zxodia to spy on us and she left a minute before the tws began. Even before that, he had sent people to spy on exs gangs and check what maps we were attacking. This is the only way his gang can own territories vs good gangs. I'm actually glad I don't have time to play this game anymore. I was getting tired of childish behaviour of players in this game.
But, ziggi is spot on. Gangleader should be able to limit the map deployment view to only his REALLY trusted players.

<sarcasm>You kidding me, this stuff never happens. There arent even people who would go so far as to do this in tourneys or even in everyday pub matches to help boost characters and power level. That s**t just never happens. Also, nobody exploits the lag and NONE OF THESE REASONS ARE THE REASONS the population is cr*p on Exeter. </sarcasm>

I love how gang wars has made you all completly and utterly paranoid! I have never sent a spy into any of your gangs you just got creamed, ask smoking aces why we didnt attack othello, its because they want midtown and we let them have a shot at knocking you off there, the rest of the zones we attacked were core zones you hold, we expected more but ur gang is full of scrubs stop. ur [filtered]ing its called CRIMECRAFT

Territory wars are fun. But now, and even probably for quite a while, certain gangs feel the need to constantly put spies in our gang to get an edge on taking over our territories. Its not even about who has the better players. Its not about strategically thinking about what the other gangs are going to do. Its about abusing good faith that a gang puts into a recruit that they are not here to spy. And its a real turn off for the game now. Gang management has turned into a game of trying to determine who is a spy and who is not a spy. Its dumb. Real low for the, dare I say, tryhards who plant spies in our gang or any gang.
Solution? Make it a privilege to be able to see the map deployments. It certainly doesn't fix the problem absolutely. But its a step in the right direction. That way a gang leader can limit the map deployment view to only his REALLY trusted players.
Its just senseless drama now that we gotta be careful who we invite and watch them carefully. We've suspected spies for a while now and often times the guy logs out right before tw registration is over. Then we're hit where we were not protecting or they hit the spots where we place our lowest or weakest players. Those gangs that use spies... pathetic and their gang leaders are equally pathetic for abusing the information gleaned from unfair practices.
