I would like to add that the level difference between lvl 20 and 50 in a div 1 match should be huge. the lvl 20 should be killed by the 50 hands down everytime but that is never the case. They use a bess/jelly combo and all the sudden the lvl 20 is so op the lvl 50 can do nothig but watch the screen says 15 seconds to respawn.
I am fairly certain my constant spending spree on gbs will be coming to an abrupt end if things do not change...

This level 50 obviously failed too hard.
Any level 50 can easily take down a level 20 even if they are using Bess/Jellyjoy combo.

Any level 50 can easily take down a level 20 even if they are using Bess/Jellyjoy combo.
He's not talking about a common lvl 20, he's talking about the exeter players which have been migrating to euricho recently...having said that, yes, he's right, they can be hard to kill if they r using that combo...

eshield + bess + jelly = most nub OP thing in the game.\
As far as locking the vault, that is a legit strategy. On isopach if you stand above the safe on the floor above you cannot steal and the devs/gms/whatever have said that is not exploiting and is a valid strategy. But I think they fixe that in tourneys cause I haven't spawned up there once all week. Maybe they fixed it for rob completely by changing the spawns.

If this game is going to have so many options why are a few so prevalent and seemingly required to win. What's the point in giving us options. Why not give us all DIS, bess, jellyjoy, electric shield and then while you're at it give us the same guns.
Tourney's are a lot of fun when we run up against teams not following these routes. I don't have an issue with losing and do it a fair amount regardless. However I'm sick to death of losing to the same bs on the same teams every tourney. I'm sure no one is going to mind if I quit running tournies but I'm done. I've been getting closer to quitting cc as this same crap has become so prevalent it's really ruining the fun. It's bad enough we have to run up against the same 15 people all night long but when the vast majority of good players are making use of unbalanced boosts/abilties it gets even more tiring.
I can't even imagine what it's like for new players right now. Granted they at least get some relief from the standard high level bs as they typically get lower level matches but the balance issues are extremely out of whack.
Seeing as how I said I'd start with rob I'll briefly mention capture the flag. In CTF the bess/jelly joy combo is even more powerful. You don't have to stand on a vault to pull a larger sum but rather can simply run by the flag and be halfway back to your capture point before your boosts wear off. I've recently been using bess/jelly joy some and to be honest it's not even a little fun. Finishing a winning match 2/10 while capturing 10 flags or bringing back vast sums of money is crap. I'm selling what bess and jelly joy i have left and refuse to purchase any more.
Do something about these issues and bring back some semblence of balance. If there were greener pastures to be had I'd be gone already. Unfortunately this is an amazingly fun game that in some ways is extremely broke, and that my friends is really hurting the fun factor.
It's always been this way, tournaments have always been about using builds with bess, etc. for robbery. You either adapt and use those builds and win tournaments or you don't. That being said if everyone uses the same bess build, it will be the better of the two teams that win.

Yep, OP [filtered], remove boosts all together. It unbalances the game and makes it a [filtered] up mechanic, the city ran out of the [filtered]...introduces... Implants instead. Passives that run all the time giving minor tweaks to performance but doesn't totally make someone with no skill unkillable. Skill over boosts and builds any day if this game wants to be a "competitive shooter" at all.. sometimes I have my doubts.
