You will always have 0hp when you are dead, you are shown the info for the player who killed you at the time of your death as well so you can see how close it was that you won instead.
it can be quite useful to look at the opponents weapondamage and resists to give you a hint about any weaknesses they might have. Spectating them for a few seconds is also useful if you can identify what boosts & skills they have equipped.
you do in fact have 120/120 at the start of the match.. to get more you need items or boosts that increase maxhp..
for example using a electric shield aug that gives +10maxhp when electric shield skill is equippped.. or using hp increasing boosts such as prank, supermax and others...

HOTTT once told me the highest hp a player could attain was 220 or 240 (I cannot remember the exact amount) with appropriate combination.
That's the highest you can go without double health.
The most commonly highest hp point was 180.

thats 180 hp before boosts, a couple of transmute armors can get you there. you can go much higher boosting.

You can only reach 180 with transmute armor without boost if you are level 50.
Soo far only 2 transmute armor I know provided 180 hp (Napalm Engineer & The Big Easy), but you cannot use boost with it.
As for reaching 220-240, that was achieve without using transmute armor.

Hmmm.......being at level 36 I still haven't figured out how to increase my general health (the hearth symbol) on the character page.
Always when I am in battle my rating says 0/120, while on many other players I can find 48/120 and even up to 100/120. What's the deal? How do I get the zero to become something more than a zero?
