I already use the skill that cloaks you (rank 3 since I had a lot of cash from the gang wars update), but with weapons I use/like (single shot pistol, auto AR, LMG), and the fact I'm new-weak at shooters, what other skills as well as other things should I use for not only pvp but also pve? I'm a level 17 if that's important.

pve and pvp is so incredibly different, do not use the same build, you get more than one profile so its not a big deal. As far as stealth builds go, there are alot of options. Stealth, psp, ambush tactics, smg shotgun lmg is a good build. So is Stealth, wind shadow, shock; smg shotgun lmg. Shotgun is pretty affective with stealth since you are close to someone when you unstealth. LMG can do alot of damage especially if you crouch and aim down the sights. smg's are superior to pistols in pretty much every way.
