Of the two teamspeak server is easier to get working.

If you want to save yourself a boatload of headaches go with Teamspeak Version 2, Version 3 has this idiotic security certificate system for every user (would be fine if it was just for admins but for users its overkill).

Whats that teamspeak you are talking about ?O:

^^Its like Ventrillo-its a voice over ip program-you can use closed channels to have private conversations during gameplay with it. It is very effective for tourney play tactics on the fly.

To the guy if you have not already chose which of the two to go with I would say teamspeak as ventrillo can be problematic...the download client screwed up for me-has happened to others if you google hard.

But being fair I hear it has more problems but its users swear by it and I hear some very good things when you get it working. Teamspeak3 however can be set up easily in minutes.

What I forgot to ask is if any of you are actually using either of these in game and with what success??

 Well I already mantioned that I did use them and I think they are effective tips :)

i like vent and refuse to get team speak  and use to have x fire but love ventrillo since i finally figured out how to use

 Never used either of them. Used only xFire to be able to picture while playing lol xD

we use both for tourny  and have had great success, i always like for pvp  makes it alot easier to play. plus u can kinda watch from death and alert ppl as well. but yes i would say is a must
