A. Common Login Mistakes

The most common mistakes users make when trying to log in are as follows:

Did not complete registration process.

You must complete the registration process to activate your account.  if you have not validated your account then you will not be able to use it.

Mistyped email or password.

It sounds so simple, but this issue comes up over and over.  Please make sure you correctly typed your email and password when logging in.

Trying to log in with display name instead of email address.

When logging into the website or game please use your email address and password to log in.  The display name only used to identify yourself on the forums.

Remember, your login credentials for the game and website are one and the same.  So please do not share your account information with anyone.

My Account does not have sufficient privileges at this time?

Your account subscription must be up to date.  If your subscription expires because recurring was not set as an option, your account will revert to be able to log in to the website.

If you received a code from any place other then www.crimecraft.com website such as a retail or digital partner you must enter that code in during registration or on your account page www.crimecraft.com/account under "Game or Promotional Codes".

Note: During closed beta you must be invited to particpate in order to log into the game.

Game Servers are Offline

Please check the current maintenance schedule for the game on the forums or in your game launcher.  Regular maintenance hours and server status are posted there.  Game servers down will only affect your ability to log into the game.  Normally website log in is unaffected. 

B. Technical Support- Login Issues: Primary Steps

Before creating a thread on a login issue, please attempt all of the steps listed in this thread first. While we understand that issues may be unique from user to user, these general primary steps are applicable to anyone. Not only may your solution be found here, but it will also help us assist you if these steps are tried first.

1. Make sure you are logging in with your email, and not your username

2. Please run a virus and malware scan on your computer to make sure your system is clean.

3. Make sure all of your drivers are up to date. (Video/Sound/ect..)

4. Make sure your operating system is up to date.

5. Insure you have the latest version of the installer.

6. Please go to the launcher, click "Versions", then "Repair"

7. Uninstall and reinstall the game into a new directory. ( Default Directory should be “C:\Program Files\Vogster Entertainment\CrimeCraft “ so instead install to ‘C:\Program Files\CrimeCraft)’
