Please note that these solutions may not work for everyone, and if it does not, feel free to create a thread and find a solution, or create a CS Ticket.

A. Issue:

You have downloaded the game from Fileplanet, installed it, and launched it. The launcher says that it is out of date and a new one will be downloaded. After the countdown, nothing happens. The updater closes itself.

B. Solution:

1. Download the new launcher directly:
patch.crimecraft.com/Patches/BT/launcher/ClientLauncher.exe

2. Copy and Paste the new launcher over your old one, in your CrimeCraft folder.

3. Open the new launcher, and it should properly update itself.

C. Solution:  Vista Users

CrimeCraft requires that you are logged into a Vista account with administrator access.  Please make sure to run the game as an adminstrator and to activate the UAC via the control panel.

D. Solution:

Delete the CC launcher folder in My Dcouments > My Games > CrimeCraft > CCLauncher and then run CrimeCraft. You may be required to to restart your computer before running CrimeCraft after deleting the folder.
