 Ive windows 7 64bit and have no lag problems  and playing game everything on max. Also dont rem changing anything in windows settings so dont know what can it be . . .

I think if you just increase classes upkeep cost everyone still will be using classes becouse I dont think you can make fair upkeep between class and custom

 I think classes would be fine till you reach 25-30 lvl after that only customs, probably that would bring some income from crafting again
