Surveys is the second page.  Clicking offers on the page you stated took you to the first page.  The surveys page has always been far less reliable for me and had different types of offers.

The matchmaking system is supposed to be setting you up based on a hidden score in relation to how good a player you are.  So a good player who is level 30 may see level 50's, but a bad player who is level 50 may see level 30's(just an example). ...

Greetings.  Classes and Doppleganger sets(card classes) get access to abilities earlier than you can purchase them for custom classes. I think chaingunner is unlocked quite early on and gets electric shield.  I've not purchased the class myself, but it'd be quite easy to double check.

Personally I've gotten to where I enjoy games that break from realism.  There are plenty of games that try to be 100% realistic, and that's fine... But when you get away from realism developers have more creative rights, and can make a game funner than its realistic look-a-like brethren.

I've noticed this game incorporates soft cover, meaning that some objects can be shot through, usually at reduced damage.  That might be what's happening in these cases.
