After Saturday's restart, I was again able to log in.  I logged in this morning without a problem.  I was reviewing my mail when I began ro experience significant lag.  I lost connection to the server and when I tried to get back in, I was unable to log in.  ...

I'd like to try that, but I don't know any other players.  I was thinking about making a dummy free account.  To see if that fixed it.  I'll check.  Are the devs working the issue?  Had not seen any postings that they were looking into it.

I shut off anything that did not need to run.  I was playing yesterday afternoon and logged off and then went to get a couple of more rounds in yesterday evening and could not connect.  Server was ~25% so someone was playing.  Just not me.

At login, application attempts to communicate with server.  This fails and I receive a messsage "Unable to connect to server."  I shut off my anti-virus and windows firewall and I still cannot connect.  Running Windows 7.

Can a gang have multiple hideouts?  I went to a different part of the city and when I went to buy a hideout it said something about destroying my current hideout.
